Por fin llegó la anhelada caja || The long-awaited box finally arrived
¡Hola Chicos!
Hoy les contaré cómo luego de casi dos meses esperando por fin ha llegado un paquete bastante esperado.
Mi suegra y mi cuñada se encuentran fuera del país, y en pocas oportunidades nos han hecho llegar cajas con cosas que fueron recaudo por varios meses. Bien sea cosas en oferta, cosas que se fueron encontrando y así.
A inicios del mes de diciembre habían hecho un envío y por ser en avión suponíamos llegaría antes de navidad, pero por alguna razón finalizó el año y nunca llegó.
Luego cerraron el espacio aéreo, ocurrió lo que todos sabemos y esto atrasó más todo. Hasta que por fin vimos que el estatus comenzó a cambiar la tercera semana del mes y por fin decía que estaba en Venezuela.
Revisabamos día y noche con muchas ansias hasta que un día por fin llegó la notificación, estaba listo para retirar.

Today I'll tell you how, after almost two months of waiting, a much-anticipated package has finally arrived.
My mother-in-law and sister-in-law are out of the country, and they've occasionally sent us boxes with things they'd collected over several months. These were things on sale, things they'd found, and so on.
At the beginning of December, they sent a package, and since it was being shipped by plane, we assumed it would arrive before Christmas. But for some reason, the year ended, and it never arrived.
Then the airspace closed, and what we all know happened, which delayed everything even more. Finally, in the third week of the month, we saw the status start to change, and it finally said it was in Venezuela.
We checked day and night with great anticipation until one day the notification finally arrived: it was ready for pickup.
Ese día llevé a mi hijo porque no tenía ni idea del tamaño de la caja y así tendría una ayuda para moverla, pues además nos tocaba retirar otro paquete que era para un familiar de mi esposo, esto era un peso extra que no sabíamos cuánto sería.
Estábamos bien emocionados y ansiosos por saber el contenido, pues aunque mi suegra nos había adelantado algo, no teníamos ni idea de que llegaría.
Ese día yo daba clases, por lo que la espera de saber el contenido sería un poco extendida pues la idea era abrir todo en familia. Nos tocaba esperar hasta llegar a casa para abrirla en presencia de mi esposo.
That day I brought my son along because I had no idea how big the box was, and he'd help me move it. We also had to pick up another package for one of my husband's relatives, which was an extra weight we didn't know how much it would be.
We were really excited and anxious to find out what was inside. Even though my mother-in-law had told us a little, we had no idea what was actually coming.
I was teaching that day, so the wait to find out what was inside was going to be a bit longer since the idea was to open everything together as a family. We had to wait until we got home to open it with my husband.
Llegamos a la agencia y efectivamente la caja nos estaba esperando. Luego de firmar los papeles de retiro y ver la dimensión de las cajas acá comenzaba el verdadero reto, llevarlas hasta nuestro local.
We arrived at the agency and sure enough, the box was waiting for us. After signing the withdrawal papers and seeing the size of the boxes, the real challenge began: getting them to our store.
Las cajas pesaban pero era soportable. Hicimos varias pausas y al llegar al centro comercial mi hijo me ayudó a subir la más pequeña y luego entre los dos subimos la nuestra.
The boxes were heavy but manageable. We took several breaks, and when we arrived at the shopping center, my son helped me carry the smaller one up, and then together we carried ours up.
Pasaron las horas de clase y finalmente podíamos irnos. Justo antes de partir llegó la dueña de la otra caja, se la dimos y ya estábamos listos. Acá la emoción aumentaba. Esperamos al señor que me suele hacer transporte fuera del centro comercial y al llegar a casa no nos aguantamos más y la abrimos entre todos.
Class time passed, and we could finally leave. Just before we left, the owner of the other box arrived. We gave it to her, and we were ready. The excitement was building. We waited for the man who usually gives me a ride outside the mall, and when we got home, we couldn't wait any longer and opened it together.
Por ahora les voy a contar un poco de lo que llegó y en otro post les contaré a detalle lo que era específicamente para mí 🤭.
Llegó mucha ropa, tanto para mi hijo, para mí y una buena cantidad para mí esposo. En veces anteriores siempre somos mi hijo y yo quienes más recibimos por lo que esto me pareció genial y me emocionó.
También llegaron cositas que me hijo había pedido como una calculadora científica para sus clases, dulces y unos lentes que anhelaba tener.
Sin pensarlo los estrenó y en eso se nos fue la noche. Le pasamos unas fotos a su abuela para que lo viera feliz con sus regalos y luego acomodamos todo porque había un montón de cosas regadas por todo el cuarto jaja
Estamos bien felices por todo lo que llegó y bueno, como les dije en otro post les contaré más a detalle sobre las cositas que me llegaron a mi.

A lot of clothes arrived, for my son, for me, and a good amount for my husband. In the past, my son and I have always received the most, so this was great and I was thrilled.
Some things my son had asked for also arrived, like a scientific calculator for his classes, candy, and some glasses he'd been wanting.
He tried them on without hesitation, and that's how the night went. We sent some pictures to his grandmother so she could see how happy he was with his gifts, and then we tidied everything up because there were tons of things scattered all over the room, haha.
We're so happy with everything that arrived, and well, as I said, in another post, I'll tell you more about the things I received.
