Hace ya 10 días iniciamos una nueva aventura, le dimos la bienvenida a la nueva miembro de la familia.
Pero vamos desde el inicio para que puedan entender. En casa hemos tenido varios perritos pero lamentablemente por diversas causas se nos han ido al cielo de los cachorritos.
Decidimos no tener más perros hasta tener los recursos suficientes para cubrir todos lo de sus vacunas. Nuestra situación ha ido mejorando significativamente las últimas semanas, y fue hasta un día en la mañana en la que ví el estado de una señora por whatsapp dónde hacía mención a que le estaba buscando hogar a una linda perrita.
Cuando le escribí al mostrarme interesada por la perrita ella me comentó que iba a consultar a ver si aún seguía disponible pues era una perrita bastante linda y de seguro habían varias personas interesadas en ella.
En el momento me dijeron que ella no estaba disponible ya pero que sí estaba un perrito macho aún sin hogar así que le dije a la señora que me había decidido adoptarlo. Fue entonces cuando me comentó que el perrito ya tenía hogar y ahora la que no tenía casa era la perrita del principio.
Obviamente me sentía súper confundida pero le dije de inmediato que me interesaba la perrita y que por favor buscara la forma de asegurarla.
Ella estaba en la ciudad de cabimas y yo vivo a unos cuantos minutos de distancia por lo que quería tener la seguridad para no hacer el viaje en vano.
Al estar segura de que esperarían por mí decidí emprender rumbo para irla a buscar ese mismo día pues no me quería arriesgar a esperar más tiempo y que ya no estuviera disponible. Sí había quedado libre para la adopción era porque definitivamente tenía que venir con nosotros a casa.

But let's start from the beginning so you can understand. We've had several dogs at home, but unfortunately, for various reasons, they've passed away.
We decided not to get any more dogs until we had enough resources to cover all their vaccinations. Our situation has improved significantly in recent weeks, and then one morning I saw a woman's WhatsApp status mentioning that she was looking for a home for a cute little dog.
When I messaged her, expressing my interest in the dog, she said she would check if she was still available, as she was a very sweet dog and I was sure several people were interested in her.
At that moment, I was told that she was no longer available, but that there was a male dog still without a home, so I told the woman that I had decided to adopt him. That's when she told me the little dog already had a home, and now the little dog from the beginning was the one without a home.
Obviously, I felt incredibly confused, but I immediately told her I was interested in the little dog and asked her to please find a way to secure her.
She was in the city of Cabimas, and I live just a few minutes away, so I wanted to be sure I wouldn't make the trip for nothing.
Once I was certain they would wait for me, I decided to head out to pick her up that same day because I didn't want to risk waiting any longer and finding she was no longer available. The fact that she was now available for adoption meant she definitely had to come home with us.
La dirección que me dieron no era tan exacta y me tocó caminar alrededor de 2 km hasta que por fin llegué al sitio donde estaba la perrita.
Aunque me costó bastante llegar disfruté el recorrido pues era una zona que no conocía de la ciudad y me permitió descubrir nuevos sitios.
Cuando llegué a la casa la chica me recibió muy amablemente y me explicó un poco de por qué estaba dando en adopción a todos los perritos.
Resulta de que su mamá ya estaba padeciendo bastante porque los perritos comían demasiado y la tenían algo enferma. Luego nos despedimos y yo comencé mi camino rumbo a casa con esta nueva peludita.

Although it was quite a walk, I enjoyed it because it was an area of the city I didn't know, and it allowed me to discover new places.
When I arrived at the house, the young woman greeted me very kindly and explained a little about why she was giving all the dogs up for adoption.
It turns out that her mother was suffering quite a bit because the dogs were eating too much and making her somewhat ill. Then we said goodbye, and I started my walk home with this new furry friend.
Y bueno se podrán imaginar el recibimiento en casa. Mi hijo no tenía ni idea de lo que fui a hacer la ciudad y al verme llegar con la perrita se sintió confundido, pero al caer en cuenta se alegró muchísimo.
Nosotros estamos súper felices con ella y nuestro gato Simba la aceptó súper bien a pesar de que ella es un perrito.
Nos tiene bastante alegres pues con experiencias anteriores el no había sido muy receptivo.
Ya pronto les seguiré contando más sobre esta nueva experiencia con Mocaccina, que por cierto fue el nombre que escogí para ella, aunque todos la llamamos Mocca. 🥰💕
And well, you can imagine the reception at home. My son had no idea what I was doing in the city, and when he saw me arrive with the puppy, he was confused, but when it dawned on him, he was overjoyed.
We are so happy with her, and our cat Simba accepted her really well, even though she's a puppy.
We're quite pleased because in previous experiences, he hadn't been very receptive.
I'll tell you more about this new experience with Mocaccina soon. Mocaccina is the name I chose for her, although we all call her Mocca. 🥰💕
