Mi sueño siempre fue tener unas bragas para poder dictar mis clases y desde el mes de diciembre compré 3 en un bazar. Las tuve guardadas hasta entonces porque mi intención era pintarlas y que estas fueran mi uniforme, pero hasta entonces no tuve pinturas para tela.
En un post anterior donde pinté una franela les conté toda la travesía que fue tener por fin estas pinturas, pero por falta de tiempo no me había podido dedicar a personalizar todo lo que tenía en mente.
Hasta que hace algunos días me decidí y tomé una noche para comenzar a pintar esta braga que guardé tantos meses. La verdad no es una braga que esté nueva pero me gusta mucho su color, y entre las 3 que compré aquel día es mi favorita.

My dream was always to have a pair of panties so I could teach my classes, and I bought three at a local flea market in December. I had them stored away until then because I wanted to paint them and use them for my uniform, but I didn't have any fabric paints until then.
In a previous post where I painted a t-shirt, I told you about the whole journey it was to finally have these paints, but due to lack of time, I hadn't been able to dedicate myself to personalizing everything I had in mind.
Until a few days ago, I decided to take a night off and start painting these panties that I'd been saving for so many months. The truth is, they're not brand new panties, but I really like their color, and of the three I bought that day, they're my favorite.
Elegir el diseño de las letras fue todo un reto, pero luego de una hora buscando (sí, demoré mucho), me decidí por un estilo.
Las tracé con lápiz sobre una de las piernas, pues este es un diseño que va a llevar varios elementos pero lo principal iban a ser estas letras de Lakrearte, mi marca.
No había empezado a pintar y ya tenía las manos llenas de pintura, cosa que me dio mucha risa.
Choosing the lettering design was a challenge, but after an hour of searching (yes, it took me a long time), I settled on a style.
I traced them in pencil on one of the legs, as this is a design that will have several elements, but the main one would be these letters from Lakrearte, my brand.
I hadn't even started painting before my hands were covered in paint, which made me laugh a lot.
Con un pincel fino definí todas las letras y en ese momento decidí hacerlas en negativo, es decir que pintaría alrededor de las letras más no el interior de ellas. Todos los detalles irían por fuera.
With a fine brush, I defined all the letters and then decided to do them in negative, meaning I would paint around the letters but not inside them. All the details would be on the outside.
Quería que el diseño fuera como especie de burbujas, así que fui pintando círculos por todo el borde de las letras, y al mismo tiempo con este diseño las fui integrando entre ellas.
Llegó un punto en el que me cansé pues ya tenía como 2 horas pintando y decidí dejarlo todo para el día siguiente.
Esta braga la pinté para usarla durante un taller que dictaría y por eso mi afán era terminar esas letras y ya luego le agregaría el resto de los detalles con calma.
I wanted the design to look like bubbles, so I painted circles around the edges of the letters, and at the same time, I blended them together with this design.
I got to the point where I got tired because I'd already been painting for about two hours, so I decided to leave everything for the next day.
I painted these panties to wear during a workshop I was teaching, so my goal was to finish those letters and then slowly add the rest of the details.
Al siguiente día terminé de pintar y una vez estuvo completamente seca le di vuelta y le apliqué calor con una plancha ya que esta pintura requería fijación con calor.
Y después de eso no esperé más y me la probé. Yo la verdad quedé súper contenta con el resultado y me sentía poderosa con mi braga pintada.

The next day I finished painting, and once it was completely dry, I turned it over and applied heat with an iron, since this paint required heat setting.
After that, I couldn't wait any longer; I tried it on. I was truly thrilled with the result and felt empowered with my painted panties.
