¡Hola Chicos!
Hoy les voy a contar la historia de como a mi hijo se le ha cumplido uno de sus sueños gracias al apoyo de una de sus tías 😊.
A él le encanta cocinar e innovar en casa con nuevas recetas. Su amor por la cocina viene desde hace varios años ya e incluso nos ha hecho saber a su papá y a mi que le gustaría ser chef cuando grande.
De un tiempo para acá le hemos estado hablando mi esposo y yo de como a ese amor por la cocina le puede sacar ganancias vendiendo sus preparaciones y estuvimos buscando varias ideas para que pudiera desarrollarlas.
Se nos ocurrió hacer una de productos fritos y buscando la economía pensamos que una buena opción sería comprar un airfryer para ahorrarnos el tema del aceite y ofrecer una opción un poco más saludable.
El mes de Enero fue algo duro para nosotros financieramente hablando y apenas en este mes de febrero fue que comenzamos a estabilizarnos. Pero no teníamos el capital necesario para poder adquirirlo.
Es por eso que el buscó respaldo en su abuela y ella le dijo que se comunicara con su tía, la hermana de mi esposo, que ella seguro le interesaría ayudarlo a cumplir su sueño.
Efectivamente al hacerlo ella se mostró bastante dispuesta y le dijo que investigara precios para poder evaluarlo.

Today I'm going to tell you the story of how one of my son's dreams came true thanks to the support of one of his aunts 😊.
He loves to cook and experiment at home with new recipes. His love for cooking goes back several years, and he's even told his dad and me that he'd like to be a chef when he grows up.
For some time now, my husband and I have been talking to him about how he could make money from his love of cooking by selling his creations, and we've been looking for several ideas for him to develop.
We came up with the idea of making fried foods, and looking to save money, we thought a good option would be to buy an air fryer to avoid using oil and offer a slightly healthier option.
January was a tough month for us financially, and it wasn't until February that we started to stabilize. But we didn't have the necessary capital to buy one.
That's why he sought support from his grandmother, and she told him to contact his aunt, my husband's sister, saying she would surely be interested in helping him fulfill his dream.
Indeed, when he did, she seemed quite willing and told him to research prices so they could evaluate it.
Aproveché mis visitas al centro de la ciudad para averiguar esos precios. En ese momento visité dos tiendas que me quedaban camino al local, en una encontré unas opciones bastante accesibles, similares a un precio que me había dado hace poco una señora que se montó en el transporte donde me dirigía a casa.
En la otra tienda me dieron unos precios carísimos que la verdad ni siquiera recuerdo pero rondaban los 100$ como mínimo.
Le pasamos la información a su tía y ella le dió su opinión. Optaron por elegir el de 5.5 litros, que era de un buen tamaño para lo que quería hacer mi hijo.
I took advantage of my trips downtown to check prices. I visited two stores on my way to the shop. At one, I found some fairly affordable options, similar to a price a woman had recently quoted me on the bus I was taking home.
At the other store, the prices were incredibly high; I honestly don't even remember them, but they were at least $100.

Me quedé un rato esperando a que mi suegra hiciera el pago via electrónica y mientras estuve conversando con la señora dueña del establecimiento.
Ella me estuvo contando un poco de la vida tan agitada que tenía y tuvimos una charla bastante amena. Conocer la historia de otros emprendedores es inspirador y me ayuda a tener referencia en mi proceso.

She told me a bit about her busy life, and we had a very pleasant conversation. Learning about other entrepreneurs' stories is inspiring and helps me have a reference point in my own journey.
Al confirmar el pago, me probaron el airfryer, el chico me explicó un poco su funcionamiento y ya con esto estaba lista para volver a casa.
Me tomaron una foto por mi compra y ya luego pensé en volver inmediatamente a casa ya que con esa caja no iba a ser cómodo estar caminando por las tiendas.

Tomé el primer transporte que me crucé en el camino y ya solo tocaba esperar a llegar a casa.
Mi hijo estaba en casa de un amigo haciendo un trabajo para el liceo, así que le tocaba esperar un poco para poder ver su regalo.
Yo llegué a casa y lo revisé con mi esposo. Sabíamos que esto le iba a alegrar mucho pues era hermoso 💜.
I took the first bus I saw and then all I had to do was wait to get home.
My son was at a friend's house working on a school project, so he had to wait a little while to see his gift.
When I got home, my husband and I looked at it. We knew he would be so happy because it was beautiful 💜.
Cuándo por fin llegó a casa, llamó a su tía y le comentó lo agradecido y feliz que estaba por haberlo ayudado a cumplir su sueño, ahora le tocaba sacar adelante ese emprendimiento que tiene en mente.
Desde ayer está practicando y aprendiendo a usar su nueva herramienta de trabajo y yo también lo he ido guiando para que pueda lograr su objetivo.

When he finally got home, he called his aunt and told her how grateful and happy he was that she had helped him fulfill his dream. Now it was up to him to get the business he had in mind off the ground.
Since yesterday, he's been practicing and learning to use his new work tool, and I've been guiding him so he can achieve his goal.
