¡Hola Chicos!
El primer objetivo se había cumplido con éxito que era contar con un espacio propio donde pudiera dictar mis clases. Ahora era momento de buscar alumnos.
Esto era algo que me tenía sumamente nerviosa pues no tenía ni idea de cómo se iba a dar ese proceso. Aún así confié en que todo saldría como esperaba.
Lo primero era darle el nombre a mi academia y obviamente Lakrearte debía ser parte de este. Pero quería que con el nombre las personas pudieran hacerse una idea de que trataba el espacio.
Luego de meditarlo con mi esposo terminamos acordando que "Centro Artístico Lakrearte" englobaba todo lo que buscábamos hacer en este espacio, pues es mucho más que una academia de artes.
A partir de ahí inicié con la programación y estructura de los cursos que íbamos a ofrecer. Para comenzar serían los cursos que yo daría pero con la idea de que luego integraría otras disciplinas.

The first goal had been successfully accomplished which was to have my own space where I could teach my classes. Now it was time to look for students.
This was something that had me extremely nervous because I had no idea how this process was going to happen. Even so, I was confident that everything would work out as I expected.
The first thing was to give the name to my academy and obviously Lakrearte had to be part of it. But I wanted the name to give people an idea of what the space was about.
After meditating with my husband we ended up agreeing that “Centro Artístico Lakrearte” encompassed everything we wanted to do in this space, because it is much more than an arts academy.
From there I started with the programming and structure of the courses we were going to offer. To begin with, it would be the courses that I would teach, but with the idea that I would later integrate other disciplines.
Ya tenía la estructura de lo que serían los cursos de pintura y el de pulseras ya que meses atrás lo apliqué en casa cuando daba clases.
Pero también quise incorporar las clases de Crochet, que eran unas que desde hace bastante tiempo quería dictar.
I already had the structure of what the painting and bracelet courses would be, since I had already applied it at home months ago when I was teaching.
But I also wanted to incorporate the Crochet classes, which I had been wanting to teach for a long time.
Diseñé el flyer y los mandé a imprimir para repartir como folletos para así dar a conocer mi local y las clases que dictaría en él.
También hice algunos del tamaño de una hoja para pegarlos en sitios estratégicos a los alrededores del local para que pudieran observarlos las personas que fueran a hacer sus compras.
I designed the flyer and had them printed to hand out as brochures to publicize my store and the classes I would teach there.
I also made some flyers the size of a sheet of paper to paste them in strategic places around the store so that people who were going to do their shopping could see them.
Cuando los tenía en casa comencé a recortarlos con tijera pero luego recordé un aparatico que me regaló mi prima Andrea que es excelente para cortar hojas de forma fácil y exacta.
A esto le dediqué unos cuantos minutos ya que eran como 30 hojas. Acá también recibí la ayuda de mi esposo para hacer algunos cortes.
When I had them at home I started to cut them with scissors but then I remembered a gadget that my cousin Andrea gave me that is excellent for cutting leaves easily and accurately.
I spent a few minutes on this as there were about 30 sheets. Here I also received help from my husband to make some cuts.
Salieron un montón de folletos, cosa que me tenía sumamente contenta. Ahora solo restaba irme hasta el centro de la ciudad para comenzar con la promoción.
A lot of brochures came out, which made me very happy. Now I just had to go to the city center to start the promotion.
Al día siguiente me puse mi traje de batalla y me fui a repartir los folleticos. Ese día hice varias compras y visité varias tiendas, que de eso ya les compartí los post.
Hice una pausa a horas del medio día para comer algo y retomar fuerzas y así continuar con la tarea.
The next day I put on my battle suit and went to deliver the folleticos. That day I did some shopping and visited several stores, which I already shared the posts about.
I took a break at noon to eat something to regain strength and continue with the task.
Antes de regresar a casa pegué los folletos más grandes en los pocos sitios que encontré disponibles para esto. La verdad es que no tenía mucha fe de que perduraran en el tiempo pues la gente es muy fastidiosa y suelen arrancarlos.
De igual forma en el poco tiempo que estuvieron lograron un impacto y logré atraer la atención de varias personas.
Así terminó la jornada de promoción de ese día, súper exitosa. Quedé cansada pero satisfecha con los resultados. Ya estábamos listos para comenzar con las clases. En un próximo post les contaré el inicio de esta gran aventura ♥
Before returning home I stuck the larger flyers in the few places I found available for this. The truth is that I didn't have much faith that they would last in time because people are very annoying and tend to tear them off.
However, in the short time they were there, they made an impact and I managed to attract the attention of several people.
That was the end of that day's promotion day, super successful. I was tired but satisfied with the results. We were ready to start with the classes. In a future post I will tell you about the beginning of this great adventure ♥
