¡Hola Chicos!
Les he contado en los últimos post que los meses de julio y agosto fueron súper movidos en el trabajo y es que tuve varios talleres y además me invitaron en varias ocasiones a ser parte de otras actividades.
Esta es la última de las actividades que me faltaba por contarles en las que tuve la oportunidad de participar. Una semana después de haberse dado la fiesta de chicas para celebrar el día del niño recibí un mensaje de Tefy, la chica dueña del salón de belleza.
Ella me comentó que tenía una fiesta en puerta y que pronto me confirmaría si se iba a dar para que hagamos una actividad similar a lo que se vivió el día del niño. Yo por supuesto que acepté la propuesta y a los pocos días ella me confirmó.
Era la celebración de cumpleaños de una pequeña, y el motivo de la fiesta era Twice, que es un grupo muy famoso del K-pop del cual nunca había escuchado pero que este día pude conocer súper bien jajaja. Ella iba a cumplir 10 años el 6 de agosto y este fue el día pautado para la celebración.

I've told you in the last posts that the months of July and August were super busy at work. I had several workshops and was also invited several times to participate in other activities.
This is the last of the activities I had yet to tell you about that I had the opportunity to participate in. A week after the girls' party to celebrate Children's Day, I received a message from Tefy, the owner of the beauty salon.
She told me she had a party coming up and would soon confirm if it was going to happen so we could do an activity similar to what we had on Children's Day. Of course, I accepted the proposal, and a few days later, she confirmed it.
It was a little girl's birthday party, and the theme of the party was Twice, a very famous K-pop group that I had never heard of before, but that I got to know really well that day, haha. She was going to turn 10 on August 6th and this was the day scheduled for the celebration.
Mi hijo fue mi acompañante este día y esta vez decidimos irnos en el transporte público tanto para ir como para volver a casa porque no quería hacer tanto gasto ya que para ese momento había hecho el pago del deposito de mi local y se avecinaban otros gastos. Este gran acontecimiento ocurrió el mismo día un par de horas antes de irnos a la celebración de cumpleaños.
Al llegar ya la decoración estaba lista y las mesas habían llegado pocos minutos después que nosotros, esta vez si eran del tamaño correcto jaja. Yo me cambié la franela que llevaba y me coloqué mi uniforme y luego de esto comencé a acomodar las cosas en conjunto con mi hijo.
My son was my companion that day, and this time we decided to take public transportation both to and from the house because I didn't want to spend too much money since I had already paid the deposit on my venue and had other expenses looming. This big event happened that same day, just a couple of hours before we left for the birthday party.
When we arrived, the decorations were already ready, and the tables had arrived just a few minutes after us—this time they were the right size, haha. I changed out of the shirt I was wearing and put on my uniform, and then I started setting things up with my son.
En cuanto a la decoración de cumpleaños todo se veía impecable, estaba todo colocado en un área donde había una pared divisoria, tenía la decoración de globos, una caja con un regalo, la torta de cumpleaños junto a unos dulces y del lado derecho unas cajitas para cada una de las invitadas y unas toallas de colores. Este detalle de las toallas me pareció súper curioso.
As for the birthday decorations, everything looked impeccable. Everything was arranged in an area where there was a dividing wall. There were balloon decorations, a gift box, a birthday cake next to some candy, and on the right side, small boxes for each of the guests and some colorful towels. I found this detail of the towels particularly interesting.
Ya teníamos todo listo solo era de esperar que llegaran las invitadas para poder darle inicio a la celebración. Primero llegaron la cumpleañera junto a su mamá, una señora muy agradable al verdad.
Ellas comenzaron a tomarse algunas fotos y mientras estábamos nosotros a la espera de las invitadas.
We had everything ready, just waiting for the guests to arrive so we could start the celebration. First, the birthday girl arrived with her mother, a truly lovely lady.
They started taking some photos, while we waited for the guests.
Comenzaron a llegar las niñas y ahí comenzaron un debate en ver quién iba a pintar que porque al parecer cada una se identificaba con cierto personaje y no habían repetidos. Por otro lado habían otras niñas a las que ni siquiera les gustaba esa agrupación o siquiera el estilo musical y a ellas les colocaron las que nadie quería escoger.
Me pareció bien chistoso este momento y bueno ya después de unos minutos se pusieron manos a la obra. Cada una escogió los colores que mejor le parecían y ahí fui explicandoles como aplicarlos para que les quedara bien. En un próximo post les contaré como se desarrolló la actividad y como les quedaron esas obras a las chicas. ♥
The girls started arriving, and there was a debate about who would paint, because apparently each one identified with a certain character, and there were no duplicates. On the other hand, there were other girls who didn't even like that group or even the musical style, and they were assigned the ones no one else wanted to choose.
I thought this moment was really funny, and after a few minutes, they got to work. Each one chose the colors they liked best, and I explained how to apply them so they would get a good look. In a future post, I'll tell you how the activity went and how the girls' works turned out. ♥
