¡Hola Chicos!
No fue fácil, pero ¡lo logramos!. Tuvimos una segunda edición de nuestro evento Convinarte el día de ayer. ♥
Fueron muchos los obstáculos y retos que tuvimos en el camino, pero bueno, les voy a ir contando poco a poco como fue ese largo (pero a la vez corto), proceso.
Como les comenté en post anteriores, nos aliamos con un restaurant famoso de la ciudad llamado "La Terraza" para llevar a cabo nuestro evento en sus instalaciones.
Habíamos pautado la hora para las 3:30 pm, pero debíamos estar allá al menos una hora antes para preparar todo. Así que desperté bien temprano para comenzar a acomodar todas las cosas y ponerme bonita yo también.

It wasn't easy, but we did it. We had a second edition of our Convinarte event yesterday. ♥
There were many obstacles and challenges we had on the way, but well, I'm going to tell you little by little how was that long (but at the same time short), process.
As I mentioned in previous posts, we teamed up with a famous restaurant in the city called “La Terraza” to hold our event in their facilities.
We had set the time for 3:30 pm, but we had to be there at least an hour before to prepare everything. So I woke up very early to start getting all the things ready and make myself pretty too.
Faltando 10 minutos para las 2 de la tarde llegamos mi hijo y yo a la avenida para tomar el transporte público. No era la opción más fresca (porque el clima estaba súper caluroso) pero era la más accesible.
Yo me había ido con mi cabello suelto y después estaba sufriendo por el calor. Por suerte contaba con mi hijo, que me ayudó a llevar parte de los lienzos.
With 10 minutes to 2 pm my son and I arrived at the avenue to take public transportation. It was not the coolest option (because the weather was super hot) but it was the most accessible.
I had gone with my hair down and then I was suffering from the heat. Luckily I had my son, who helped me carry some of the canvases.
Al llegar le envié a Elieska pero aún estaba en camino, así que decidí entrar con mi hijo al restaurant para no acalorarnos más.
When I arrived I sent Elieska to him but he was still on his way, so I decided to go into the restaurant with my son so we wouldn't get any more heated.
Al entrar al restaurant me di cuenta que en la sala donde estaríamos desarrollando el evento, habían otras personas celebrando un cumpleaños.
En un principio estaban tranquilos pero luego comenzaron a reír y festejar, como en todo cumpleaños. Esto representaba una molestia para la actividad ya que debíamos estar en un sitio tranquilo, donde se pudieran escuchar las instrucciones que les iba a dar.
El encargado nos había acomodado las mesas y colocamos todos los lienzos y materiales. Luego Elieska habló con él para ver si había posibilidad de que nos moviéramos a un área privada que tienen y accedió.
As I entered the restaurant I noticed that in the room where we would be holding the event, there were other people celebrating a birthday.
At first they were quiet but then they started laughing and partying, as in every birthday. This was a nuisance for the activity since we had to be in a quiet place, where they could hear the instructions I was going to give them.
The manager had arranged the tables for us and we set up all the canvases and materials. Then Elieska talked to him to see if there was a possibility that we could move to a private area they have and he agreed.
Arreglamos todo nuevamente en el área, yo me fui al baño para amarrarme el cabello ya que lo que me había hecho se había arruinado 😅. Al volver ya estaban la mayoría de los invitados, solo faltaba que llegara una chica.
El día anterior sorteamos una entrada, pues les cuento. Tuvimos una baja audiencia para esta ocasión. Solo habían cancelado dos personas para participar por el monto que habíamos solicitado.
Esto nos tuvo muy preocupadas durante días e inclusive pospusimos la fecha para dar oportunidad que otras personas se sumaran. Lamentablemente no fue así y solo teníamos seguras a esas 3 personas.
A mi se me ocurrió buena idea invitar a participar a los emprendedores que asistirían al evento, cobrándoles únicamente el costo de los materiales. Esto nos vino bien, pues se sumaron 3 más y con esas 6 personas llevamos a cabo la actividad.
Entre ellas habían dos niñas. Y claro para tranquilidad de los dueños del restaurant, le pedimos a ellos que debían hacer consumos para poder participar.
We arranged everything again in the area, I went to the bathroom to tie up my hair since what I had done to myself had been ruined 😅. When we came back most of the guests were already there, only one girl was missing.
The day before we raffled off a ticket, so I'll tell you about it. We had a low audience for this occasion. Only two people had cancelled to participate for the amount we had requested.
This had us very worried for days and we even postponed the date to give other people the opportunity to join us. Unfortunately this was not the case and we only had those 3 people for sure.
I had a good idea to invite the entrepreneurs who would be attending the event to participate, charging them only the cost of the materials. This worked out well for us, because 3 more joined us and with those 6 people we carried out the activity.
Among them there were two girls. And of course, for the restaurant owners' peace of mind, we asked them that they had to make consumption in order to participate.
El bartender, quien también es el encargado, comenzó a trabajar en los cocteles y el mesero comenzó a repartirlos a los asistentes.
Estábamos listos para comenzar. Todo prometía ser genial. Les contaré el desarrollo de la actividad en un siguiente post. ♥
The bartender, who is also in charge, started working on the cocktails and the waiter started handing them out to the attendees.

Excelente esa última foto, me encantó ese cuadro. Y les felicito por la actividad, que bueno que les dieron un lugar aparte, estar rodeados de bulla mientras están enseñando es una gran molestia, tanto para el que enseña como para el que atiende.
