Hoy quiero contarles un poco de lo que fueron las clases el día de las madres. Como les he venido comentando desde hace unos meses, tengo un local y en el cree un centro artístico donde se imparten clases en diferentes disciplinas.
De esto aún no les he compartido absolutamente nada en mi blog, solamente los aspectos generales, compras que he hecho, pero de las clases aún nada. De esto pronto comenzaré a hablarles.
Quise compartir lo que fue las clases del día de las madres, para finalizar con esta serie de post en torno a ese día, que para muchos es súper importante.

Today I want to tell you a little bit about what the classes were like on Mother's Day. As I have been telling you for a few months now, I have a place and in it I created an art center where classes are taught in different disciplines.
I haven't shared anything about this on my blog yet, only the general aspects, purchases I have made, but nothing about the classes yet. I will start talking about it soon.
I wanted to share what was the Mother's Day classes, to end this series of posts about this day, which for many is super important.
Yo le escribí a todos los representantes de mis alumnos que ven clases en el turno de los domingos para informarles que iba a dar clases con normalidad. La mayoría me había confirmado aunque sabía que lo más probable era que no todos aparecieran ese día.
La primera clase es la de crochet, que comienza a las 9 de la mañana. Yo había llegado con mi hijo unos 20 minutos antes del inicio, lo que me permitió acomodar un poco el local y barrer.
Cuando llegó mi alumna más pequeña, ella con mucho entusiasmo me dijo "quiero que me ayudes a hacerle algo a mi mamá de regalo". Nuestra clase dura apenas hora y media, así que debía ser un proyecto rápido y sencillo.
Le sugerí hacer un corazón, y ella aceptó bien emocionada. Luego llegó otra alumna y al parecer ellas eran las únicas que asistirían.
I wrote to all the representatives of my students who see classes on the Sunday shift to inform them that I would be teaching normally. Most of them had confirmed although I knew that most probably not all of them would show up that day.
The first class is crochet, which starts at 9 am. I had arrived with my son about 20 minutes before the start, which allowed me to set up the room a bit and sweep up.
When my youngest student arrived, she enthusiastically said “I want you to help me make something for my mom as a gift”. Our class is only an hour and a half long, so it had to be a quick and easy project.
I suggested making a heart, and she was thrilled and agreed. Then another student arrived and apparently they were the only ones attending.
Ella estaba demorando un poco, pues sus habilidades con la aguja aún se están desarrollando, por lo que decidí tomar una aguja y otro hilo del mismo color para ayudarla a tejer la otra parte del corazón para que así diera tiempo de que se llevara su corazón terminado.
Ella lo rellenó y luego lo cerramos, así logró tener su corazón tejido para su mamá, el cual guardó para agregarle un llavero y entregárselo junto a una carta a su mamá.
Bueno esos eran los planes, pues a la media hora vi los estados de su mamá y estaba el corazón sin llavero, tal cual se lo llevó. De seguro se lo entregó así porque no aguantó la emoción jajaja.
Después continuamos con el proyecto que teníamos pendiente de la clase anterior.
She was taking a little while, as her needle skills are still developing, so I decided to take a needle and another thread of the same color to help her knit the other part of the heart to give her time to take her finished heart with her.
She filled it in and then we closed it, so she had her heart knitted for her mom, which she kept to add a keychain to it and give it to her mom with a letter.
Well, those were the plans, after half an hour I saw his mom's status and there was the heart without the keychain, just as she took it with her. I'm sure she gave it to him just like that because she couldn't stand the emotion hahaha.
Then we continued with the project we had pending from the previous class.
Por otro lado con la otra alumna estuvimos trabajando un proyecto un poco más complejo, un llavero de conejito. En este proyecto tenía ya varias semanas trabajando, pues el hilo es muy grueso y es complejo de tejer.
Pero al fin había podido culminar y quedó bien contenta con el resultado.
On the other hand, with the other student we were working on a more complex project, a bunny keychain. She had been working on this project for several weeks, because the yarn is very thick and it is complex to weave.
But finally she was able to finish it and she was very happy with the result.
Cuando fueron a buscar a la pequeña del crochet, su mamá le hizo entrega de este ponquecito para que me lo entregara como regalo por el día de las madres, Me pareció un detalle súper tierno ♥
Luego llegaron mis alumnas de la clase de pintura, acá si sabía que no iban a asistir algunas pues me avisaron cuando les envié.
Con ellas estábamos trabajando sus nombres al estilo comic, que usaremos de identificación para una actividad que tendremos pronto en nuestro centro artístico.
Ya con esto dimos por finalizada la jornada laboral. Un día de celebración, haciendo lo que me gusta en mi emprendimiento, mi lugar favorito luego de mi casa ♥
When they went to pick up the little crochet girl, her mom gave her this little cake to give me as a gift for Mother's Day, I thought it was a super cute detail ♥
Then came my students from the painting class, here I knew that some of them were not going to attend because they told me when I sent them.
With them we were working on their names in comic style, which we will use as identification for an activity that we will have soon in our art center.
With this we ended the work day. A day of celebration, doing what I like in my business, my favorite place after my house ♥
