Clase especial de cumpleaños y nueva alumna || Special birthday class and new student ♥

Les traigo hoy las aventuras de una nueva clase en nuestro centro artístico. En el post anterior les dije que con esa clase había terminado la semana pero la verdad no fue así, jajaja es que ha pasado algo de tiempo y bueno, algunos recuerdos no están tan frescos.
Esa semana se celebró carnaval en mi país y yo no quería dejar de dar clases, por lo que decidí posponer la clase que sería para el día martes el día jueves.
Para ese momento tenía 3 alumnas en el curso de dibujo y pintura para jóvenes y adultos pues se había inscrito una nueva, pero una de ellas me comentó que no podría asistir, así que me planifiqué para atender a las otras dos.

Today I'm bringing you the adventures of a new class at our art center. In the previous post, I told you that with that class, the week was over, but the truth is, that wasn't the case. Haha, it's just that some time has passed, and well, some memories aren't so fresh.
That week, Carnival was celebrated in my country, and I didn't want to miss teaching, so I decided to postpone the class that was scheduled for Tuesday to Thursday.
At that time, I had three students in the drawing and painting class for young adults and adults because a new one had enrolled, but one of them told me she wouldn't be able to attend, so I made plans to attend the other two.
La clase sería las 3 de la tarde, así que salí un poco más tarde de casa y pensé en darme una pequeña pasada antes por la papelería pues tenía en mente comprar el resto de colores que me había faltado la vez anterior de pinturas para tela.
The class would be at 3 p.m., so I left home a little later and thought I'd stop by the stationery store first, as I had in mind buying the rest of the fabric paint colors I had missed last time.
Así que llegando al local dejé mis cositas y salí a hacer mis compras. En ese momento me encontré con una de las alumnas llegando, quien casualmente estaba cumpliendo años ese día.
Ella me acompañó a comprar mis pinturas y durante el proceso le pregunté a ver que le gustaría hacer de especial para celebrar su cumpleaños.
So, upon arriving at the store, I dropped off my things and went out to do my shopping. At that moment, I ran into one of the students arriving, who happened to be celebrating her birthday that day.
She accompanied me to buy my paints, and during the process, I asked her what special thing she'd like to do to celebrate her birthday.
Ya luego de las compras volvimos al local y llegó la nueva alumna, una chica bastante talentosa. Ella me había enseñado sus trabajos anteriores que eran realmente hermosos.
La cumpleañera decidió que quería pintar la noche estrellada y como este es un cuadro que he hecho muchísimas veces, ya tenía claro como explicárselo a la perfección.
Por otro lado con la chica nueva estuvimos trabajando en una clase de diagnóstico asistido esta vez pues ya sabía lo que era capaz de hacer y estuve aconsejándole ciertos detalles para que pudiera hacer mucho mejor su obra.
After shopping, we returned to the store and the new student arrived, a very talented girl. She had shown me her previous works, which were truly beautiful.
The birthday girl decided she wanted to paint the starry night, and since this is a painting I've done many times, I already knew how to explain it perfectly.
Meanwhile, the new girl and I worked on a diagnostic-assisted lesson this time. This time, I already knew what she was capable of, and I advised her on certain details so she could improve her work.
Como siempre aprovechamos el tiempo para irnos conociendo en lo que ellas iban pintando. La verdad nos complementamos muy bien y la chica nueva nos contó bastantes detalles de lo que era su vida y de sus gustos.
En este aspecto yo tengo una capacidad enorme de sacar conversación y eso hizo súper entretenida la clase.
As always, we took advantage of the time to get to know each other through what they were painting. We really complemented each other very well, and the new girl told us a lot of details about her life and her tastes.
I have a tremendous ability to engage people in conversation in this regard, and that made the class super fun.
En un momento de la clase les pedí tomarles una foto para el recuerdo. No saben lo feliz que me hace ver estas fotos y ver como mi academia poco a poco va creciendo y ganando alumnos. Es una sensación indescriptible.
At one point during class, I asked them to take a photo for our memories. You can't imagine how happy it makes me to see these photos and how my school is slowly growing and gaining students. It's an indescribable feeling.
Esta clase la extendimos algunos minutos, pues con el estar hablando ellas no habían logrado culminar, así que les di unos minutos adicionales para que pudieran hacerlo. Ya iba conociendo mejor como era la rutina en el centro de la ciudad y el tema del transporte, por lo que me sentía confiada de hacerlo.
Y luego de unas cuantas pinceladas la clase finalizó, dejando como resultado unas pinturas hermosas donde los colores azul y amarillo predominaron de una manera bastante linda y armónica ♥
We extended this class for a few minutes because they hadn't been able to finish it while we talked, so I gave them a few extra minutes to get them started. I was already getting to know the city center routine and transportation better, so I felt confident doing it.
And after a few brushstrokes, the class ended, resulting in some beautiful paintings where the colors blue and yellow predominated in a very nice and harmonious way ♥
