¡Hola Chicos!
Hoy me encontraba revisando las fotos de la galería de mi teléfono y di cuenta que no les había hablado de este taller que ocurrió a finales del año pasado y dije "bueno, es momento de hablar de esto antes de que pase más tiempo jaja".
Cuando hice la convocatoria al taller de Vision Board me escribió una chica que estaba interesada en participar junto a su amiga. Ellas reservaron sus cupos y justo un día antes, cuando hice el último llamado para inscribirse me escribió otra señora interesada.
Este fue nuestro último taller del año, pautado para el 22 de diciembre, porque sí, esta señora trabajo hasta la fecha tope que podía hacerlo para asegurar tener lo suficiente para sobrevivir a esos días tan apretados.
A mi la verdad no me mortifica el tener que hacer esta clase de cosas, como lo es sacrificar tiempos de descanso, pues legalmente yo finalicé mis clases el día 18 de ese mismo mes. Y en sí no es sacrificar porque lo hago de lo más feliz. Quien ama lo que hace NUNCA verá su trabajo como algo pesado. Yo amo cuando hay personas interesadas en visita nuestro espacio y con gusto los atenderé cuando ellos quieran. ♥

Today I was looking through the photos in my phone's gallery and realized I hadn't told you about this workshop that took place at the end of last year, and I thought, "Well, it's time to talk about this before more time passes, haha."
When I announced the Vision Board workshop, a woman contacted me saying she was interested in participating along with her friend. They reserved their spots, and just the day before, when I made the final call for registration, another woman contacted me expressing interest.
This was our last workshop of the year, scheduled for December 22nd, because, yes, this woman worked until the very last day she could to make sure she had enough to get through those busy days.
Honestly, I don't mind having to do these kinds of things, like sacrificing rest time, since I officially finished my classes on the 18th of that same month. And it's not really a sacrifice because I do it with the utmost joy. Those who love what they do will NEVER see their work as a chore. I love it when people are interested in visiting our space, and I'll gladly welcome them whenever they want. ♥
Ese día había planificado atender también a unas alumnas que no habían podido asistir a las últimas clases del año por estar enfermas, pero ellas quería terminar sus cuadros, a pesar de que ya había pasado la galería.
De esto también me estoy dando cuenta que no les compartí nada, pero cuando les suba el post de la galería les mostraré sus trabajos.
Volviendo a ese día, yo salí desde bien temprano para poder acomodar todo y así tener en un lado de la mesa el taller y del otro la clase. Me dio mucha risa que cuando me monté en el carro para ir hasta el centro de Cabimas escuché un maullido. A mi lado estaba sentado un señor con un bolsos y en un principio pensé "tiene un gato ahí". Pero al cabo de un rato y estudiando bien el asunto me di cuenta que no era un gato real, era el timbre de su teléfono. Me pareció demasiado chistoso. Fuimos todo el camino escuchando "Miau" jajaja 😂
That day I had also planned to see some students who hadn't been able to attend the last classes of the year because they were sick, but they wanted to finish their paintings, even though the gallery show had already taken place.
I'm also realizing that I didn't share anything with them about this, but when I upload the gallery post, I'll show you their work.
Going back to that day, I left very early to get everything set up so I could have the workshop on one side of the table and the class on the other. I laughed so hard when I got in the car to go to downtown Cabimas and heard a meow. A man with a bag was sitting next to me, and at first I thought, "He has a cat in there." But after a while, and after looking into it more closely, I realized it wasn't a real cat; it was his phone ringing. I thought it was hilarious. We listened to "Meow" the whole way there, hahaha 😂
Al llegar acomodé todo y al rato llegaron tanto las niñas como las que iban a participar en el taller. Una de ellas, la amiga de la chica no pudo asistir pero eso luego trajo algo positivo, pues ese dinero terminó siendo parte de su inscripción a uno de nuestros cursos ♥. Acá es donde viene la frase "las cosas pasan por algo".
La señora por su lado llevó varias cositas curiosas para hacer manualidades e incluso hasta me regaló unas etiquetas que recibí feliz de la vida.
When I arrived, I set everything up, and after a while, both the girls and those who were going to participate in the workshop arrived. One of them, the girl's friend, couldn't attend, but that later turned out to be something positive, as that money ended up being used towards her registration for one of our courses ♥. This is where the phrase "things happen for a reason" comes in.
The lady, for her part, brought several interesting things for crafts and even gave me some labels, which I was overjoyed to receive.
Durante este tiempo la conversación fluyó de maravilla, ambas contaron parte de su vida, sus ocupaciones y así terminó siendo una tarde bastante agradable.
During this time the conversation flowed wonderfully, both shared parts of their lives and occupations, and it ended up being a very pleasant afternoon.
Finalmente luego de varias horas ellas lograron finalizar con sus tableros de deseos bastante felices por lo logrado, con metas claras y establecidas para este nuevo año.
Aprovechamos al final de tomarnos una foto grupal y luego de retiraron.
De ahí luego recogí apenas un poco el desastre para no encontrar al siguiente año algo tan caótico, pues no pensaba volver hasta los primeros días.
En este punto agradecí infinitamente a la vida por tener mi espacio, mi local y poder decir "eso lo arreglo luego" y tener la seguridad que después volveré y estará todo tal cual, sin problemas.
Dejé mi local ese 22 de diciembre y me di unas buenas y merecidas vacaciones de casi 3 semanas, pero pensé cada día en volver y seguir construyendo ese futuro que nos merecemos mi familia y yo y hacer real esos sueños que tenemos. ♥
Finally, after several hours, they finished their vision boards, quite happy with their accomplishments and with clear, established goals for the new year.
We took the opportunity to take a group photo at the end, and then they left.
Afterward, I tidied up a little of the mess so I wouldn't find something so chaotic the following year, since I didn't plan to return until the first few days.
At this point, I was infinitely grateful to life for having my own space, my own shop, and being able to say, "I'll fix that later," knowing that when I return, everything will be just as it was, without any problems.
I left my shop on December 22nd and took a well-deserved vacation of almost three weeks, but I thought every day about returning and continuing to build the future my family and I deserve and making our dreams a reality. ♥
