Hoy les contaré un poco de las últimas compras que he hecho a lo largo de mis días de trabajo. Todas ocurrieron en días diferentes y decidí hacer este pequeño post uniendo todos esos momentos.
He comprado de todo un poco, desde cosas para mi uso personal, material para las clases y también un regalito para mi esposo.

Today I'm going to tell you a little bit about the latest purchases I've made during my workdays. They all happened on different days, so I decided to write this short post bringing all those moments together.
I bought a little bit of everything, from things for my personal use to materials for class, and even a little gift for my husband.
Yo trabajo casi todos los días de la semana dando clases o dictando talleres. Muchas veces no me da tiempo de recorrer las tiendas del centro de la ciudad y aprovecho de irme un poco antes o al salir de clases para ir súper rápido porque ya a la hora que termino son casi las 6 de la tarde, que es la hora tope que puedo tomar el transporte.
De lo primero que les hablaré es sobre un pantalón en una tienda que me recomendaron visitar. Al ir me encontré con una oferta de jeans en 3.5$, cosa que me pareció genial y accesible. Habían 4 tipos de jean, unos negros, unos celestes pero con unos huecos enormes en el área de la cintura, estos grises y unos como blanco muy decolorados para mi gusto.
Me decidí por los grises, era un color bien bonito la verdad.
I work almost every day of the week teaching classes or workshops. Often, I don't have time to browse the shops in the city center, so I take advantage of leaving a little early or after class to go quickly because by the time I finish, it's almost 6 p.m., which is the latest time I can take public transportation.
The first thing I'll tell you about is a pair of pants in a store that someone recommended I visit. When I went, I found a sale on jeans for $3.50, which I thought was great and affordable. There were four types of jeans: black ones, light blue ones with huge holes in the waist area, these gray ones, and some white ones that were too faded for my taste.
I decided on the gray ones; they were a really nice color, to be honest.
Otra de las compras que me ha tocado hacer mucho últimamente es la de hilos para tejer. Por suerte me queda súper cerca la tienda El Castillo, de la que les he hablado en infinidad de veces.
Ese día compré varios hilos porque había tomado varios para mi uso personal y pues tocaba reponer los del local jajaja. Acá suelo ir con mucho tiempo porque en horas del medio día las chicas que atienden están en su descanso por el almuerzo y las colas se hacen enormes.
Aparte me queda muy justo el tiempo para llegar a dar clases. Aunque no les voy a negar que me ha tocado vivirlas porque no queda de otra, como el día que tomé estas fotos.
Another purchase I've had to make a lot lately is yarn for knitting. Luckily, the El Castillo store, which I've mentioned countless times, is very close to me.
That day I bought several skeins because I had taken several for my personal use and it was time to restock the store, haha. I usually go there early because at lunchtime the girls who work there are on their lunch break and the queues get really long.
Besides, I don't have enough time to get to my classes. Although I won't deny that I've had to experience them because I have no other choice, like the day I took these photos.
Por suerte todo avanzó rápido y pude hacer mis compras y llegar a tiempo para la clase. Me da mucha risa que las chicas ya me conocen porque he ido mucho en los últimos meses.
Luckily, everything went quickly, and I was able to do my shopping and arrive on time for class. It makes me laugh that the girls already know me because I've been going so often in recent months.
Otra compra chévere que he hecho en las últimas semanas es esta resina artística, algo que tenía mucho tiempo queriendo probar en mis trabajos. Es un poco costosa pero vale realmente la pena, los resultados son geniales, aunque el olor no tanto porque es súper fuerte y me tocó aprenderlo a las malas. jajaja Lo apliqué en mi cuarto con todo cerrado. El olor permaneció el resto del día.
Another cool purchase I've made in recent weeks is this art resin, something I've been wanting to try in my work for a long time. It's a bit expensive but really worth it, the results are great, although the smell isn't so great because it's super strong and I had to learn that the hard way. Hahaha. I applied it in my room with everything closed. The smell lingered for the rest of the day.
Y la última compra de la que les hablaré hoy es de unos audífonos que compre a inicios del mes pasado como regalo de cumpleaños para mi esposo. Los que él tenía se habían dañado hace tiempo y los usaba así.
Me pareció un detalle lindo comprarle unos nuevos. Lamentablemente no dieron la talla y no se escuchaban bien ni el bajo y el micrófono se escuchaba súper lejos.
Pero no se perdieron pues se los dimos a nuestro hijo y a él le funcionaron perfecto. Con esta anécdota finalizamos con el pequeño resumen de mis compras en las últimas semanas.
And the last purchase I'm going to tell you about today is a pair of headphones I bought at the beginning of last month as a birthday present for my husband. The ones he had had been damaged some time ago, and he was still using them.
I thought it would be a nice gesture to buy him a new pair. Unfortunately, they didn't work well—the bass wasn't clear, and the microphone sounded really distant.
But they didn't go to waste, because we gave them to our son, and they worked perfectly for him. With that anecdote, we conclude this brief summary of my purchases over the last few weeks.
