Back to HIVEblog!
Hello, everyone! I hope you are all doing well. It's been a while since I've been here, and I've decided to resume my presence on HIVE. I want to start by posting my drawing studies and finished illustrations. I'm eager to show you my progress.
This time, I'm bringing you a small series of quick drawings as part of a practice session in my sketchbook.
These are drawings done in 10- and 7-minute periods, done in pen on paper.
This technique is quite useful for loosening up the hand and training the eye to capture information more quickly. I also think it's a useful method for getting into a flow state with drawing.
These drawings are based on basic shape outlines that then help to locate the facial morphology of the model. The details come later, but a solid foundation is important for a good final result. Finally, it should be noted that for digitization, the drawings have been scanned with a printer scanner at a resolution of 300ppi.
Dear friends in this community, that's all for this post. I'll be back soon to share more of my work with you. See you soon!
