What are some goods you barter?

I was thinking lately about bartering and exchanging goods for other goods. It's something that I practice every once in a while with my neighbors. They'll sell us sofrito or we'll exchange seeds for plants and what not. We got a special relationship going on and that reminds me how important trade is for survival.

Bartering is essential to maintain a small community. One family may have skills that are necessary for survival while another family has skills that make certain things more efficient. Since I'm expanding what I know about bartering and going to barter more often, I want to know what have you bartered?

Is there a good or a food crop you would trade for another good? If you don't accept cash, what would you accept if someone were to sell you fruits, vinegar, wine, or other home-made goods?
