Tragedy Gets Me Thinking

It's sad to hear the news of someone passing.

Two people who I've known when I was in high school have lost their lives in less than a year from each other. It's truly tragic that both of them were younger than me. At the age of 30, I've always wondered where some of the people who I once hung out with have gone, and now I'm sitting here thinking how life is so fragile.

To be taken away at such young ages, because of overdoses, that just boggles my mind. It's just a horrible situation, but I suppose, the living can learn from their sacrifice. Truly, after this news, I've been very humbled.

If there are those suffering from addiction, please don't forget them. Try to support them and wane them off drugs. Nobody needs to die from overdoses.
