Round Two: Trying My Hand At Apple Vinegar
Many months ago I tried making Vinegar for the first time and the project was going well until I realized there was a leak big enough for gnats to enter my container. I wasn't too discouraged—I was expecting something to go wrong. So now, after forgetting all about it, I decided to try the experiment again.
Today, I grabbed two apples I had in the fridge and chopped them up for my mix. A simple half cup of sugar and a cup and a half of water and I was already finished. I'm not relying on a specific yeast since the original project was going well without a specialized yeast before the invasion. This time around I have simpler ingredients.
The goal is to make an apple vinegar and as I get better at making this vinegar, I can move onto to making homemade wine.
