I've got the scooter up and running!
Here’s an update on my scooter—I realized I never posted about this. The good news is that it’s working now! It turns out the throttle controller was unplugged when it was shipped to me. Instead of waiting around for the company to respond, I decided to check it out myself. Thankfully, it was an easy fix since I had all the tools I needed to open up the chassis.
At first, I was frustrated with the company, but honestly, it was a blessing in disguise. I didn’t have to go through the hassle of shipping it back, and fixing it myself gave me some peace of mind. My guess is that it became unplugged during shipping, though it could also point to the manufacturer not securing the throttle properly in the first place.
Either way, it’s not worth dwelling on the negative. The scooter is fixed, it runs perfectly, and I’m back to saving a ton on my commute. Everything worked out in the end.
