I Was Flagged On TikTok For Saying "Pride is a sin"

One of my most recent content flags on TikTok came from stating that "Pride" is a sin, specifically in reference to the pride parades associated with the LGBT community. I was referencing the traditional Catholic teaching that pride—understood as an excessive sense of self or arrogance—is considered one of the seven deadly sins.

Honestly, I find the whole situation somewhat ironic. Merely acknowledging that pride is morally wrong from a Catholic perspective was enough to trigger moderation on the platform. It highlights how certain views, even if expressed respectfully or in a theological context, are increasingly unwelcome unless they align with progressive social norms.

This experience serves as a reminder that in many modern online spaces, particularly those moderated by activist-minded staff, dissent from dominant ideological positions is often met with censorship. It's concerning to see platforms that claim to value diversity of thought penalize users for expressing deeply held religious beliefs, especially when those views are shared in a calm and non-hostile manner.

My ex calls it the 'movement'. She went full on lesbian, or whatever she calls herself these days, and we had the discussion about the whole keeping your sex life out of everyone's face. She agreed that the 'movement' takes things way too far and that most people are pretty rational about it.

Give it a couple of days that the pride bitches will calm down... Their month will be over, lol.
