Got My Hands on Peruvian Pepper Seeds: Aji Amarillo
After a few days of waiting, I finally received my Aji Amarillo seeds. These peppers are among my favorites to eat, so I figured I’d buy some seeds online and try growing them myself. They're pretty tough to come by, and honestly, I wanted to get seeds from my family in Peru—but unfortunately, I couldn't get my hands on any. So, I decided to purchase them online instead.
Aji Amarillo peppers are similar to most of the other varieties I’ve grown. From what I know, there's not much of a difference in how you care for them compared to Jalapeños or Sweet Bell Peppers (or even their smaller cousins). Overall, they should be fairly easy to grow. That said, this will be my first time growing Aji Amarillo, so I can’t be entirely sure. It’s also the first time I’ll be growing them indoors, which adds a whole new layer of experimentation!
There are only 10 seeds in the package, and since I paid for these seeds, I'll be extra careful when I grow them. Currently, they're sitting in a cup of water. Hopefully, they will germinate and I can plant them soon. I'm already excited for the next steps!
As you already know, I have released a book, Cor I, please support my work by purchasing a copy!
