She left the red slippers at the entrance of the cabin. The cobwebs got tangled in her hair and, armed with her faithful broom, this time at ground level, she made the dust fly, sweeping it outside.

The cabin, hidden in the forest, thanks to the candles and the lit stove, was filling with life again. The smoke from the chimney rose over the treetops and was the first thing the lost siblings saw, guiding them to the very door of the charming little house.

No one would have said it had anything to do with the abandoned cabin, were it not for the fact that the witch's red slippers were still resting at the entrance.

Dejó los chapines colorados a la entrada de la cabaña. Las telarañas se enredaron en su pelo y, armada con su fiel escoba, esta vez a ras del suelo, hacía volar el polvo, barriéndolo fuera.

La cabaña, escondida en el bosque, gracias a las velas y la estufa encendida, se llenaba de nuevo de vida. El humo de la chimenea se elevaba sobre las copas de los árboles y fue lo primero que vieron los hermanos perdidos, guiándolos hasta la misma puerta de la pequeña casita encantadora.

Nadie diría que tenía que ver con la cabaña abandonada, de no ser porque a la entrada seguían descansando los chapines colorados de la bruja.
