No the boiler/geyser due to the large element. Air conditioning does not help either. I knew the problem appliances from having a small generator that used to squeal and sound like it would blow up when you turned the kettle or microwave on. The geyser was never switched on as the generator would have stopped working due to overload.

You can stack them, I guess.
They serve a useful purpose if you have no power for a brief few hours or are camping and need to charge a few small items. I would still prefer to have a generator because this item is useless if you have a 6 hour outage or longer. I have run my generator for days at the peak of our black outs and cost slightly more than this portable battery pack.
