WE ARE THE WORLD π
To change the word is same as to change the human person. If that be the case, it follows then that having impact on the world is same as having impact on humanity. In other words, making the world a better place is same as making your next door neighbour happy. And that is all that humanity demand.
WE ALL HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE Making the world a better place is not a complex task. As a matter of fact, all humans have the power to make the world an amazing place for all. All one need to do is to keep putting smile on the faces of people around him/her. If it be the case that all humans prioritizes the happiness of their neighbor, the world will be the best place that one can ever be. But then, is that really possible? Can humans reach a stage where they can prioritise the happiness of others over their wants and selfish nature?
THE INHERENT SELFISH NATURE OF THE HUMAN PERSON Most humans will always place the benefits that are to come to them over the harm that will be caused to others. In most cases, humans are completely blinded by their benefits that they fail to notice the harm that is being caused to others. That is the inherent selfish nature of the human person. And humans cannot just help it, it's just in our nature to be like that. At this point, allow me to give a practical example. If it be the case that you were awarded a contract worth $500,000, will you give up that contract and fight for the seizure of the same contract if you get to realise that innocent people will become homeless if that contract is continued with. The truth is that you would most likely not even recognise the problem of those who would become homeless. The wort of the contract will most likely engolf the whole of your attention. That is the inherent selfish nature of the human person.
WHAT ONE SHOULD DO TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE Just like I have earlier stated, the human person is inherently selfish. If that be the case, it follows then that you and I are naturally selfish beings. If we then must make the world a better place, we must learn to become better persons. We must learn to fight this selfish nature of ours. In my own opinion then, making the world a better place is never an external world, it is a war that must be fought from within. We are the world, and if we all can become better persons, the world will no doubt become a better place.
CONCLUSION To face the reality, it almost impossible for the world to be without oppression, killings, marginalisation and other inhuman and evil things. That notwithstanding, we must in our own little way contribute to making the world a better place. To do that then, we must do all that is in our power to become better persons. The more better we become, the more happier those around us become. The world can only be a better place if we have more of better people than bad people. If we must put smile on the faces of others, we must first become better and selfless personalities.

You are right bro, we need to first work on ourselves to become better. The more better we are, the more better our place
Thanks for sharing this with us
Thank you so much for agreeing with me @ashiru π
Yeah how we feel normal affects others. And I think happiness and betterment is somehow transferable. You can only make someone better by starting with yourself.

Thank you so much for your beautiful comment π
Changing the world is intertwined with changing individuals. Impacting the world equals impacting humanity. Prioritizing happiness for others makes the world better. The inherent selfish nature of humans poses a challenge. To improve the world, we must first become better, selfless individuals. It's an internal battle that collectively shapes a brighter world. Despite imperfections, small efforts contribute to positive change. The journey begins with personal growth and selflessness
