It is with these experiences that they are able to mentor the younger ones in the family, offering them advises and mentorship for all phases of life. No matter of how smart or intelligent an individual is, he or must learn to pay hid to the wisdom of the elders, by doing that he or she can avoid repeating their mistakes. Another important task of elders is that they help preserve family histories and way of life. Though they themselves need care, but there are cases where they serve as perfect care giver to the children.
