A plate of Jollof Rice

Of course there are multiple ways of preparing rice here in Nigeria but my favourite is the Nigerian Jollof rice. It has always been my best. It's almost like I cannot get tired of eating it. As a matter of fact, it is that one meal that I can eat over and over again without getting tired.

I am not a very good chief but I am can at least prepare my favourite meal. I certainly know how to prepare jollof rice alongside so many other Nigerian meal. The only problem is that they might not be the best Nigeria meal you will ever eat😀. For those who would love to learn how to prepare it themselves, I will be dropping a step to step guide by Sisi Jemimah's Recipes below. It is a pity that I am not chanced to prepare one myself. Come to think of it, I cannot remember when last I prepared a Jollof rice myself. I have really been eating out lately, time no longer permit me to do the things I formerly enjoyed doing.

HOW TO PREPARE A JOLLOF RICE

A step to step guide on how to prepare Jollof Rice by Sisi Jemimah's Recipes

I would have dropped the procedure on how to cook jollof rice myself but I am not the best chef to teach you how to cook Nigerian dishes, I am probably not a chef at all. For the first time I took my time to watch a video on how to cook jollof rice. Though I have been cooking it for years, but I just got to realize that I have probably not been doing it right. Now I understand while the ones I buy from restaurants always taste better. All thanks to Sisi Jemimah's Recipes. I guess I have lots of work to do if I must become a better chef.

I am @ernesto6402 and I am a Nigerian. Nigeria have got so many amazing meal but the jollof rice is not peculiar to Nigeria. To be more particular, it is better called the Nigerian Jollof rice. For quite some years, there have been a debate on whether the Nigerian jollof rice is better than the Ghanaian jollof rice or not. Of course the Nigerian jollof rice is always better. I would have told you why but it is a bit outside of the topic of the prompt. The jollof rice is a meal that goes as far as many countries in west African. Though the Jollof wars have made it popular amongst Nigeria and Ghana but it is more of a west African meal. I am happy to have sheared this with you and I wish you find an opportunity to have a taste of this amazing meal someday if you are yet to.

If a food is your favourite, you should definitely try to at least learn how to cook it. Who do you want to cook it for you, ehn? Lol.
But you're right, Jollof rice is truly one of a kind. Add it with creamy salad or coleslaw and you've made my day.

I'm even getting hungry now... Lol

Ghana jollof over Nigerian jollof any day.😂 I know you will come for me but you first need to try Ghanaian jollof before you decide to argue with me.

I have eaten it before ooo. When my friends in Ibadan celebrated their independent, I seized that opportunity to taste the high esteemed Ghana Jollof. The thing is the food was nice but their was nothing extra and that extra something is what I am talking about.

I hope that I am able to convince you with these few points of mine that Nigeria Jollof is better than Ghana Jollof😅

Don't worry I am not coming for your neck today

But you really need to have a taste of Nigeria Jollof. Do that and your life will never remain the same
