MY TECH STORY

Technology is indeed amazing. The fact that looking back brings to mind so many outdated things sometimes gets me laughing, but that is simply the nature of technology. I am a type who does not trade out my devices, and so I have kept many of them, some of which were eventually disposed after they were deemed completely useless. That notwithstanding, I still have an outdated devices with me to this day, and I will be sharing it with you guys. No, it might not be completely outdated, considering so many factors, there are still some who would love to use it.

When I saw today's prompt, I asked my brother who was at home to help me take photos of my Lenovo laptop alongside this Tecno Pop, which I will be telling you about.

The screen already says a lot about what it must have gone through. Though I cannot remember the exact model of the phone, it was changed because it needed to be changed. It was the case that my friends made several jokes about this phone because I had neither accepted to change the glass nor change the phone. I refused to change the glass since I was planning to upgrade, but the money wasn't coming forth at the moment. I eventually had to change the phone to Tecno Canon 15 in the year 2020. By then, this very Tecno Pop had been in use for almost two years. Unlike the former, I gave away my Tecno Canon 15 in 2023. It served quite a bit longer.

This one is certainly not outdated as far as I am concerned. Considering how much I currently need a system, I would do anything to make this one work, but unfortunately, there is nothing I can do. I know very little about computers in general, which will give you an idea of how much I know about hardware. I am not really sure what is wrong with it, but after the technician replaced the battery, he convinced me that a panel associated with the charging system needs to be replaced to enable charging again. Given the age of the system, it was impossible to find this panel.

As at when I bought the system, it was still on board. Although it is becoming a little outdated, it would certainly still be of great use to me. Considering I will only need the system for writing and some browsing, a 4GB RAM system with a 4-core processor will certainly be sufficient. Those are the exact qualities of my Lenovo, but I for obvious reasons cannot have it. If I were assured of 24-hour electricity, I might have considered using it, but that is certainly not possible. I guess I will eventually have to scrap it.

Funny enough, I do not even know the exact model of this system😔

It is a fact that whatever technological advancements we have reached are just the genesis of what is to come. All we can do is follow this advancement, realizing that there can never be an all-time ultimate technology. There will always be more to come.
