MY RECOMMITMENT
At the beginning of the year, I made a resolution, and it has massively affected my activity on Hive as a whole. Despite that, I still have not fully met my responsibilities as a member of @hive-reachout. Come to think of it, procrastination could be blamed for this one. I deem it fit to first apologize to the house before proceeding with this post, and I promise to ensure that I do better than ever before.
In a special way, I appreciate @ovey10 and his entire team for the good work they have been doing. This initiative is absolutely amazing, and I sincerely appreciate their efforts.
MY SUGGESTIONS
Considering the tremendous effort invested by those driving this community's progress, it is a significant challenge to identify areas for improvement. Nevertheless, there are a few things I would suggest we add here as we grow. Given my inactivity in the community, it is possible that these suggestions are already in place without my knowledge. Nevertheless, I will proceed with my suggestions, hoping they will eventually be of use.
USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA: I am of the opinion that the message of goodwill carried by Hive-Reachout is important not just for Hive users. I am of the opinion that we should spread it a little further by utilizing other social media platforms. On the other hand, I must acknowledge the challenges that we might face as a new and growing community. It is possible that we do not have the capability for that yet. That notwithstanding, I suggest that we consider it in the near future.
OFFLINE ACTIVITIES: Apart from our usual charitable offline activities, I suggest that we explore additional initiatives. I recently realized that there was a 'Vibe Music Competition' held here in Nigeria, and it was championed by our own @obaro, a co-founder of the @afri-tunes community. Initiatives like these are truly valuable, and @hive-reachout would do well to host simple, engaging events like this. Again, I acknowledge that we may not currently have the capability for such events. Nevertheless, I hope that my suggestions will be considered when possible.
CONCLUSION
As far as I am concerned, we still have many milestones to reach. Thus, I suggest that we focus on growing the community for now. Once again, I may not be fully aware of our progress, given my inactivity, but I suspect we still have a lot to achieve. With this being said, the most important thing for me is that we focus on growing our community first. Considering how far we have come, I think we are doing just fine, but we must not lose focus. On my part, I promise to start contributing as expected from this day forward to ensure the growth of this community. I know it will not be easy, but so help me God!
