MUSIC HEALS...
Music has the power to heal, that I am certain about. As an individual, I am a living example of what music can do. If only we are in a church I would have given numerous testimonies about what God has done in my life through the hands of good music😁. Nevertheless, I will still give my testimonies regardless the fact that we are not in a church. Now get on with it.
MY TESTIMONIES
There is probably no human person who cannot attest to how music helps the mind. As an individual, music is best friend in time pain or sadness. Sometimes I may not even speak to a being, I only allow the right words from the right music do the magic. Given my experiences, the fact that music reduces stress, depression and anxiety is given. Sometimes, it might not really be the case that I am depressed or sad, it might just be that I need a little cheering up. I have also come to realise that music is capable of enhancing mood.
At the time when I lost my favorite aunty, I was really affected emotionally. At the end of it all, it was music that helped me get through the time. Don't worry be happy by Bobby McFerrin was the most helpful as at the time, that music was somehow able to make me smile even when I was at my saddest mood. Given my experiences, it would not be out of place to speak of music as that which is capable of giving grief and bereavement support.
WHAT RESEARCH HAS PROVED
Apart from this brief testimony of mine, music is capable of so many other things. Music is capable of bringing healings to not just the mind but also the body. A typical example of the healing power of music is the music therapy, a therapy that helps reduce pains in cancer patients. Music therapy is also practice in mental institutions as they are capable of improving cognition in ADHD individuals. Though I am not the meditative type, but music is said to be of great help to those who meditate. Music assisted meditation is possible and it will be of great help to those who can practice it.
CONCLUSION
There are certainly so many more to say about the healing power of music, so much more that we cannot exust it. Sometimes I just sit back and imagine what humanity will do without music. Given how much this particular music has helped me, I am for the purpose of what music can do recommending the song "don't worry be happy" by Bobby McFerrin. Though it is a little bit old fashioned, but it is capable of making you smile even in your saddest state. I am @ernesto6402 and I appreciate the fact that read this. One Love✌️
