HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL WEEK 140 - ROUND 2 || SOME HAVE FOOD (A COVER)

Hello good people. This is @ernesto6402, and I am happy to be here again for this week's Hive Music Festival. I am greatful to God for his care, love and provision; and I will thus be performing a song that acknowledges his goodness upon my life.

Gratitude is of great importance to humanity as a whole, gratitude to one another; but most importantly, to God. The song I will be performing today is one that reminds me of my childhood, and the great job ours teachers did to ensure that we become men and women of gratitude. Before we take our lunch, we were always mandated to sing this song as to giving thanksgiving to God for the grace of being able to eat.

La gratitud es de gran importancia para la humanidad en su conjunto, gratitud hacia los demás; pero lo más importante, hacia Dios. La canción que voy a interpretar hoy me recuerda mi infancia y el gran trabajo que hicieron nuestros profesores para asegurarse de que nos convirtiéramos en hombres y mujeres agradecidos. Antes de almorzar, siempre nos mandaban cantar esta canción para dar gracias a Dios por la gracia de poder comer.

The title of the song is "Some have food". It is not just a song of thanksgiving to God, it is a song that allows us the opportunity to realise that we are privileged. The fact that we are able to consume that which has been provided either by the work of hands or by that of another is a miracle. Some have, but are not able to eat; and so, the fact that we have and can eat is enough reason to thank the almighty.

El título de la canción es "Algunos tienen comida". No es sólo una canción de agradecimiento a Dios, es una canción que nos da la oportunidad de darnos cuenta de que somos unos privilegiados. El hecho de que podamos consumir lo que nos ha sido proporcionado por el trabajo de las manos o por el de otro es un milagro. Algunos tienen, pero no pueden comer; por eso, el hecho de que tengamos y podamos comer es motivo suficiente para dar gracias al Todopoderoso.

I have never really heard much people perform this song. It is only a simple chorus sang by children in schools. It might even be the case that it was composed by a teacher who saw the need to impact great morals in the live of his pupil. Funny enough, the composer will never be remembered for what he/she has done, but the impact that has been made by his composition lives. This is the case because this song is actually not attributed to anyone.

La verdad es que nunca he oído a mucha gente interpretar esta canción. No es más que un simple estribillo que cantan los niños en las escuelas. Puede incluso que la compusiera un profesor que vio la necesidad de impactar con una gran moral en la vida de su alumno. Lo curioso es que el compositor nunca será recordado por lo que ha hecho, pero el impacto que ha causado su composición perdura. Esto es así porque, en realidad, esta canción no se atribuye a nadie.
