AN EXPOSITION OF MY THOUGHTS

Of all topics that I have encountered here on hivenaija, this is for me the most interesting. Personally, I have got so many things that goes on my mind, some of which I wish I could be given the opportunity to discus. By implication, I even in some cases wish for someone to put it up to me as a question. Thank God for this amazing topic, at least I can discuss some of them by putting them up to myself as questions.

Why should one believe in a God he has never seen? Religion with reference to the fact that no one can visually prove the existence of God is for some a very stupid thing to engage with. But then, proving that is no God is in itself a very difficult thing to do. Even though we are to proof that the world came to being through the explosion of some powerful cauldron as the big bang theory propose, the fact that something exploded simply entails that there was something in existence before the explosion, and that is the problem. A God is that being that came to being by himself, a being that brought about the first existence other than himself, "the first cause" as Aristotle will call him. Though it might sound crazy, but the idea of God is the only thing that justifies existence. For every other thing to come being, there must be a being that brought about the first thing that there is, and that being must be void of cause. Think about it!

Why do God permit evil? Christianity and many other religion opines that God is almighty, absolutely good and all knowledgeable God. If that be the case, it follows then that God is capable of doing all things. He is also by his very nature as an absolutely good God suppose to expel evil from this world, but that is certainly not the case. The fact that God and all that he has made is good is indubitable, but his creature cannot be said to be as perfect as he is and that's the problem. God has given the human person freewill, one that allows him/her bring about either good or evil consequences all by himself. Though the human person is good but yet imperfect, this imperfect nature of the human person causes him/her to see corruption. The corrupted nature of the human person could be said to be reason behind evil.

Is this really a man's world? The proposing that men control the world is probably the highest scam that there is. This world is never a man's world, it is in fact ruled by women. Men are probably just there to do the dirty job😎. The fact that the world gives women special treatment is given, they can be likened to VIPs while the men do all that is in their power to ensure that the VIPs get the best treatment ever. The worst thing a man can do is to not give a VIP what she deems fit, any man that ever does that will have the judiciary to contend with. The most amusing thing is that the judiciary in most cases is being controlled by men😀. Wetin man do man😢

Do you still believe in Nigeria? Yes! I believe in Nigeria, I believe in a better tomorrow. At some point I completely lost hope, I believed that nothing can be done any longer. I guess I was wrong, the 2023 general election made me realise that. The very fact that Nigerians have for the first time in a long time stood for what they wanted brought back hope to my being. All we need to do is to keep fighting, the end is near...

Is there a person who doesn't like music? As Billy Joel will put it, music is in itself healing. It is an explosive expression of humanity, it is something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we are from, everyone loves music. I completely agree with Billy Joel on this matter, the human person in by his very nature is musical. We cannot help it but to love music. Be it who you may, there must be a genre of music you fancy.
