MY EMOTIONAL SUPPORTERS
To stay motivated is no easy job; it no doubt takes a lot. That notwithstanding, many of us have been able to keep up. As an individual, I too have been able to keep up. Though it has never been easy, there are things that have always helped me through those times. Here, I will be sharing some of them with you.
NEVER BEING ALONG
It is one thing for people to help you, and it is another thing for them to know when you need help. As an individual, I have never been the type that enjoys being alone; this very attitude of mine has caused me to surround myself with good and amazing people. Given how much I associate with those around me, they know when I am distressed, and they do not hesitate to give me emotional support.
MUSIC
I am a music lover, and beyond being a music lover, I am one of those who believe that music heals. Yes, I have experienced the healing power of music on many occasions. As a matter of fact, the song "Shoemaker" by 121SELAH, Remii, and Sinmidele holds a great memory for me. My first break-up was so unbearable that I almost lost myself, but somehow, this very song helped me recover. There have been so many other times when music has helped me through one emotional challenge or another, but this is the most prominent.
FORMER SACRIFICES
Sometimes, my biggest motivation is the fact that lots of people have sacrificed a lot for me. Remembering their sacrifices reminds me of how much they aspire to my progress; giving up, as a matter of fact, will not just terminate my dreams, it will eventually break them too. I am loved by many, and the last thing I will do is to make them sorrowful as a result of my recklessness.
CONCLUSION
There are certainly lots of reasons not to give up. Sometimes it seems otherwise, but I am reassured by loved ones and their efforts to keep me afloat that giving up is certainly no option. Challenges might never cease to come, but I will never stop facing and waving them off. After all, I have got lots of people around me. Come to think of it, the very fact that I am not alone is what helps me to keep afloat the most. Among everything one can do to get through hard times, emotional challenges, and to stay motivated, I recommend surrounding yourself with loved ones. In my opinion, being around those who really love us provides us with every support we will be needing.
Thank you so much for coming by and for reading through to the end. I sincerely appreciate your support; thank you once again...
