Unboxing My Tefal Easy Fry Multifunction Air Fryer
This kitchen appliance has been on my buy list for ages, but there always has been something to stop me from buying it. Now that I take my diet seriously, finally took the time to research what and how and also look for the offers and possibilities I have.

Before I buy anything, I always call my brother to consult with him regarding energy consumption, not because I'm worries about the electricity bill, but to be sure I don't burn down the house. When my apartment building was built, times were different, energy consumption was at a minimum and the system is not up to today's standards, so sometimes I need an extra circuit for certain appliances and always have to watch how many I use simultaneously. After I got a set of recommendations from him, I was good to go.

When it comes to electronics, I don't make compromises. I go for trusted brand as otherwise you're just throwing money out of the window and among the available brands, Tefal is what I choose any day, so this is why I picked this beauty. Not to mention it was at a discount, which counted too, but first and always the brand.

Characteristics:
- air fryer & oven FW556DE0,
- 1800W,
- 15L,
- 9 automated programs,
- LCD display,
- Extra-Crisp technology,
- adjustable temperature.
It's not a small piece, not by any standards, but the fact that has a window, made a lot of difference for me. I wanted one that has the capacity to cook a whole meal for several people, not just one and can cook more than one thing simultaneously, so this 15L one is perfect I'd say.
Has a digital display, which comes with a protective cover, so you need to remove it if you don't want to call customer support and look stupid 😆. I love this display, it makes your job much more easier.
As you can see, there are 9 automated programs, all very useful and much needed.
I have several Tefal items and they never disappoint. The packaging is what you expect from any company that have maximum respect for their customers and themselves as well. Accessories were packed individually as well, to protect them and the inside of the air fryer.
The box came packed in another cardboard box by the way, as expected, to protect the item itself.

It comes with a set of trays, grids, the rolling thing for the grill, user manual and so on.
It's going to take some time to study this guide and learn what it needs to be learnt, time I didn't have this week, but I'll definitely make time next week.
There's an app in the app store you can download, called My Tefal, which can help you with recipes, but I suppose the internet is full with good recipes too, so no shortage in this regard, you just have to find the suitable ones and get a routine.
As i said, I had no time to cook anything with it this week, but still didn't want to post without testing it, so I chose to make a toast as it was the fastest and easiest option.
The cool thing is, you select the function, set the number of slices and the time, which is 3 minutes minimum, by default. You can increase it, but I left it on 3 minutes, to see what my toast turns out like.
Most likely 4 minutes would be better for a crispier toast, but I'm not disappointed with the 3 minutes one either.
I already have a few silicon trays for muffin and other sweets and not only, but those ill have to wait as I'm not going to sabotage my diet for he sake of experimenting with my new kitchen toy.
My next assignment is to look for healthy recipes and see how I can make my meal better using this air fryer.

I don't know this brand but again, every nation has its own ones besides the internationals... I also look at the brand before buy, it doesn't make sense buy a cheap brand that will last little so then you gotta spend again, it sums up and you pay more than a decent one
I don't have an air fryer 😄 I use a little oven to cook what I need to, so I can't give any advice
Brand is important in this industry, otherwise the cheap product becomes very expensive. I'm surprised you don't know this brand.
I have a normal oven, a microwave oven and now this 😆
as top tier we have Miele here, but i wouldn't trust much samsung stuff
haha i had a microwave, used maybe twice in years and it died by itself at a point lol
que increíble, felicidades por tu nueva adquisición
How incredible, congratulations on your new acquisition
Thank you, it was money well spent.
This is a great product—I haven't seen anything like it for sale. Looking forward to a post about freshly baked cinnamon rolls )))

This is beautiful. Congratulations on your new purchase; I've always wanted one of these. You can bake, toast, fry, do everything with it, and the best part is that it's a healthy option.
