And I have the feeling that it gets worse. I read an article last night, about the UK revoking licenses of companies that were importing migrants and were circumventing rules to make more money. This has to stop.

I agree 100%
This comment is far too long for my liking...but I'll give it a 100%er anyway.
When will I ever learn, eh? lol
You're a slow learner indeed.
👀
I got my eye on you 😆
Except when they're closed.
I got skillz
Scones better be one of them.
Scones, scones...what'r they again?? j/k😂
I want scones for breakfast...won't get any...but I want them.
Are there none to be had where you are? Sometimes we just have to make do...sigh
There is, but they be no good for me. Carbs.
Plan B then, but that doesn't help a craving
Indeed. I have coffee and just had an apple because I had a hypo so life is
goodless than bad. ☺️Fucken carbs
Fuckzactky!
(Fucken Exactly)
A new word for my vocab! I shall use it when appropriate (or inappropriately, should I so choose) lol
I made a post about this word I'd made up a long while ago. It burst out in excitement when I wanted to say exactly but added the fuck but only partially. Sometimes the best inventions happen by accident.
I used your word, fuckzactly today after my annual Dr. exam. He said everything looks good but blood sugar was up a bit. No medicine, says he, but...maybe cut back on the carbs a bit. Of course, since the above conversation was still occupying my mind, I recalled your word and silently shouted it ...(not fuckzactly what I wanted to hear!) I told him that it's been so hot outside I haven't been doing my normal work, he said 'quit bullshitting me' ....I said 'how'd you get so smart?' We both laughed and I left, shedding a silent tear for my lost carbs.
Oh no!
Well, good on you for using the word, it's legit, but having to drop back on carbs...sucks. (this, from someone who has an extremely low carb intake and knows how sucky it can be.) best youbdonthe right thing though. Seems like we'll be able to split a scone instead of one each.
Halfsies on a scone??? I better make it big then hahaaa
I'm making pork fried rice for supper, kinda like a going away dinner lol. Recently I read (somewhere) that freezing your bread, rice and potatoes lowers the glycemic index when consequently consumed. Don't know if it's true, but is something I want to investigate further.
Lowering carb intake is difficult in today's society, eating out of home especially. I'm not sure about the freezing thing, I'd be interested to know more also.
There are times where I eat out for one reason or another, but it isn't that often. On those occasions I generally cut loose and order whatever trips my trigger. I will be digging more into the freezing of the starches. Hope it works lol
Scones, scones...what'r they again?? j/k😂
