RE: The Smell Of Fresh Paint

There is some really decent talent here, especially for their age.

I think so too. I forgot to ask readers to judge what they see here accordingly as you can't expect a 17 - 18 year old teenager to have their style sophisticated and clean yet.

Arrow ARE unusual to see and it appears some are in a quiver.

Over the years I have visited hundreds or exhibitions but I can't remember how many arrow paintings I've seen. Most likely none, unless I count those reproduction of ancient characters, who had used arrows to hunt. But those were not really paintings.

The mortar used for mixing or preparing pigments makes the most sense.

Thanks for Googling the Poseidon statue 😆 I should have done it but didn't cross my mind 😬

Thank you for your opinion and view, it's fun to know what others think and you're an artist, so I really appreciate your opinion and view.

Have a nice Sunday 🤗

ha ha... on the Poseidon Goog, I tried it with the name and fountain and then the name and gazebo, not being sure what the statue was on top of, but I am sure I didn't use the right words on that. I thought it would narrow down the choices that came up, but.... no.

I saw after I commented that someone else had already suggest the pigment mixing/crushing for the mortar, but I did not read them first. :)

Thank you, I'll be headed out to Mom's in a little while. She is 91 and still pretty spry for her age. We usually have a good visit on Sunday afternoons.

Hope your Sunday is a nice one too.
