Photo Art Impression
This was a photo exhibition I visited in November last year and it was special in many ways. First of all, all the photos of György Vajda were printed on canvas, which I love by the way and most likely I'm going to have some of my photos printed one day. Secondly, the photos were put up for auction and the funds donated to charity, which is not a unique idea but the problem is, you don't see it too often unfortunately.

After visiting the exhibition and seeing all the photos, one thing I noticed was that all the photos are connected to water in some way.

At first glance, most likely a lot of visitors saw a blurry photo, but if you have some knowledge in photography, you realize this is a photo of a reflection. There are clues indicating that, if you recognize them. Now the question is, how many would like to buy such a photo.
I think I know what I'm seeing here, but I'll let you tell me what you see, so this is the riddle for the day. Let's play the game!

This is a photo I'd like to be able to take one day. Not only is the tree trunk section so amazing, I mean the shape of it, the blue water surface adds a nice contrast to the photo as well. I think you have to be lucky to capture such a scene as this can't really be staged.

Flowers and leaves floating on the surface of the water can also be lovely, if you find a lake where water is not flowing at a certain speed. I love the contrast between the black background and the yellow flower.

This is another fantastic photo in my eyes. The colors provided by nature are perfect, the scene as well. The funny thing is, most people (those who don't take photographs regularly, like us) can't see anything special in such a scene and maybe this is why Hive has a good influence on those who are willing to learn.

With the risk of sounding like a broken record, this is another fantastic photo. It's a river or a creek in winter, nothing special so far, but the golden surface of the water is something you can't get every day. You need a sunrise or a sunset and not only the weather has to be optimal for such a shot, but you need to be there at the right time as well.

I've always loved rippling water surfaces and took a few good photos at my dad's, where there's a big black rainwater barrel and the branches of the walnut tree are reflecting on the surface of the water, but have never had the pleasure to capture for such a scene.

I'm curious to know how many of you see just an old and ugly window here. I see a wonderful stained glass, reflecting a landscape. I love stained glass, but I've never seen such a reflection as these glass windows are usually used by churches and those don't reflect anything, so this is even more interesting.

If I were to give a title to this photo, that would be Golden & Delicate as that's how I see it.
Thinking back, I can only be grateful to have these opportunities, to visit so many exhibitions for free every month. I've learnt so much about photography and art in general and I'm not walking blind anymore as i have been, before I joined the chain.

Seeing these photos give you the opportunity to store the images in your memory and spot similar scenes when you're photo walking or just happen to be somewhere, where there's something interesting from photographic point of view.
Let me know, am I the only crazy person who can see beauty almost everywhere?

The ones in the riddle seems to be peppers spreaded around, like half eaten...
This one is my favorite, I like nature subjects like this one, and it suits well the winter we are in now
That's my second pick, already not easy to spot such a yellow water, then the plant doing the turn... The feather might have been staged, but still a good photo
I think so too, but I think they are in the mud.
I see you like golden colors too :) You picked two excellent ones.
For the colors, it depends on composition 😅
Thank you @dimascastillo90 :)
Photographs containing water fascinate me, because water is life and because I am water, I don't know how to explain it, it's stronger than myself!
As for the riddle, I see the remains of some very red fruit that was eaten by birds, it's the first thing that came to my mind.
And these two are my favourites: the trunk and the shape are fabulous and the lake... sublime with its reflections and the angle at which the photo was taken. I love them!
I see that landscape reflected behind the window, a natural stained glass window, very beautiful!
Very interesting :) Looks like the one on the right is the winner today as there are already 3 people liking it. The other you picked is fantastic too.
How I loved that picture!!!😍
What a lovely exhibition post, I really like the water theme and the charity auction idea, and your eye for reflections makes these photos feel like little puzzles.
