Award Winning Photos
Before you jump to conclusions, the award winning photos are the ones I photographed and not my photos đ
Yesterday I posted the first batch of the photos I saw at the latest photo exhibition and today I'd like to show you the rest.
I got a lot of nice feedback from the community, I hope you will like this one as well as there were some amazing photos there.
Dóra Csörögi - Enclosed
This photo won gold medal in the Nature - Tree category. Although I haven't seen all the other participating photos in this category (there are a few I can show you in this post, but not all), I fully agree with the decision. I loved it from the second I laid eyes on it. It's a drone photo and many argue that drone photos are not real photos, I am not sharing their opinion. I've never flown a drone and have no idea what kind of settings a drone camera has, but I'm sure you need some skills and good eye to take such photos. The other thing worth mentioning here is that if you don't have a drone, taking such a photo becomes quite impossible.
What I love here is the rule of third respected, the colors, the harmony between the brown, green and the grey and how the shadow is falling the other way.
Szilamér Huszår - Rétyi Medow
This is another entry from the same category. Look at those layer of colors. I keep saying nature is the best artist and you can have as much proof as you want. This is one of it. Look at the colors.
ZoltĂĄn Mekli - Fluff
This photo was awarded with silver medal in the same category. I don't know how much manipulation is allowed at these exhibitions or how much manipulation has been done to this photo, apart from the colors, but this photo is amazing. How much is the chance to find such a scene?
Botond Kinda - Autumn Morning
Special mention in the same category. These are my colors, so obviously I love it. What's nice here the spot where the photo was taken. Would brighten my room for sure.
GergĆ DĂĄniel GĂĄl - Eurasian Jay
We are changing category here. This photo was awarded special mention in the youth category, between 15 and 21 years. It's a bit shocking (in a very good way) to see teenagers taking part in exhibitions and contest with such good photos. I've never been good in this category, so hats off in front of those who are, especially at such a young age.
MihĂĄly MoldovĂĄn - Parallel
Botond Kinda - Spring
One more participating photo from the Nature - Tree category. I wouldn't have used the effect as the scene is beautiful on its own, but it's ok like this as well.
Erzséber Mazån - In The Castle
Silver medal in the photos taken using archaic methods category.
I don't know if it's obvious to everyone, or not, so what you see is two people dancing.
LorĂĄnt FĂŒlöp - Coming Home
This can be a common scene in some of the villages, where growing livestock is still the main activity of the village.
LĂĄszlĂł Bolla - Sparkling Water
This photo got the gold medal in Hungarian Inventions category. In my previous post, you've seen two photos from this category, related to the Rubik cube. This one is special, but different. These sparkling water bottles are not in use anymore as you can buy sparkling water in plastic bottles and don't need to use those batteries anymore.
But the historical meaning apart, I love how the bottles are lined up in front of the wall and how the light is falling on them. Excellent in my eyes. I love this type of photography.
Tibor Kozics - Changing Season
General category.
Ede Tordai - Flying
General category.
This is a funny one. I'm not entirely sure, but the metal thing you see behind the lady I think it is a rail carriage. It's interesting, but not an award winning in my eyes.
Ferenc Német - Illusion
General category.

There are many interesting photographs. The first one really struck me, not only because it was taken with a drone, but also because of the shadows and colours, as well as the angle at which it was taken.
The sepia tones of the autumn photograph are so enchanting that they fascinate me. It is one of my favourites, along with the first one and the photograph of sparkling water, which brought back many childhood memories of when my grandfather used to buy it for me in Argentina. Thank you for this wonderful photographic exhibition!
I'm glad to read you liked the first one. That's my favorite too.
Looks like we have similar taste as you pretty much mentioned the ones I love đ
That's a great photo! Have a wonderful weekend!đ€
Thank you! You as well đ€
Wonderful!
Thank you very much, @erikah
My pleasure.
Good heavens, this is photography âraised to the nth degreeâ đźđ·... Great photo reportage work again @erikah friend!
I looked at each photo several times and the one that impacted me the most, the one I felt the most, was "Autumn Morning"... It's such an intense photo that you can almost hear the forest flooded with sunlight...

Yup, photography at the highest level I'd say. Why I was writing my post, was thinking how many have never been to an exhibition, let alone see awards winning photographs at an exhibition. I'm lucky this way.
Jesus, I'm really glad to know you are so interested in these that you looked at them several times. Autumn morning is stunning and it is my favorite too.

the first 4 photos of nature are just amazing, they are all good equally, i hope filters and modifications are not allowed or have been made, it would be half cheatđ
Botond Kinda - Spring: i don't like the effect added, becomes sort of psychedelic
Tibor Kozics - Changing Season : that's a very good one too
illusion: i don't really like it
After I posted my post, I was thinking I should check the requirements for this competition to know what it is allowed and what not. Maybe I'll know more about what we're looking at.
Ypu selected a few good ones. Illusion is a strange one.
Adding the requirements or the rules would be cool to understand the context of the competition
Stunning collection! Each photo tells a powerful story.
That's how usually is.
âEurasian Jayâ by a teen?? That honestly inspires me!
Yes, I was surprised too, but this is how the best photographers are born, isn't it? You can never start too soon.
