Another Day, Another Art Post
Today I'd like to show you more beauties from the textile art exhibition. I had two busy days in which my screen time has been little to none. I had to finish an important project as there was a deadline, but here I am today, back to my favorite topic, which is art. To tell you the truth, I miss art a lot, but these past two months I had so many things to do that visiting exhibitions and posting about art were the only two things I could do regarding art. Anyway, let's see what I have in store for today.
Cornelia Brustureanu - Scuar
At first site, my reaction to this piece of textile was like love at first site, due to the colors.
I had to take some close up photos to see how it is made and I was really impressed. There's the base canvas, which is black, then there's the colored, brownish canvas and there's the black floral part, that is embroidered I think. It is high quality for sure.
Elena Denisa Cristescu - Herbal Elements
This piece of textile is woven, by hand. The pattern is pretty geometrical and I like the colors.
Evhenia Goreaceva - Leaf Whispering
I had to take a photo from the side for you to see the details as I'm afraid the front view doesn't give out much. Most likely most of you have never tried to create something woven. I have tried it, but only at school at a very small scale. It's a fun thing, but you have to have the design ready and follow it strictly, if you want results.
Anca Frantz - Unwritten Story
When I first saw this piece, my first thought was that it looks like some kind of hippy art/symbol or whatever, but I knew right away that it's not just some random work by mistake.
The title of the artwork is Unwritten Story. If you look at the close up, partial photos, you can see how detailed those small boxes are and in my opinion, each box can be a story.
While I was looking at the details, was wondering what came first. The idea of creating such a textile artwork, or this wonderful canvas with all those details and that's how the idea was born? If the idea came first, how and where do you find the perfect canvas for your work?
I love it and even though it's not my style and taste, would be happy to have it on my wall. These detailed works have an effect on my, I tend to look at them and think of a thousand things and this fits perfectly in this category.
Lucia Puscasu - Cloud Columns
This seemed a bit abstract to me, but loved the color combination.
Look at how delicate it is. I admire artists who are capable of creating such artworks and just hope I can create something acceptable one day. Not great, just acceptable.
Ilona Sajgó - Model With Hoodie
Seeing this beauty made me smile. I knew this piece before as I attended Ilona Sajgó's solo exhibition and this one made an impression on me and would have been happy to buy it for the lovely colors and the concept, but it was too big (long) for my wall.
The funny thing is, as I visit almost all available exhibitions and have a very good visual memory, plus take photos of everything, when I see an artwork that I've seen before, I remember exactly where I saw it, when and can even remember its place on the wall. This may seem weird, but this is how it is.
I love this and will remember it with pleasure. It's a lovely concept and the execution is just as perfect.
Natalia Simona Udrea - Ancient Cycles
This is felting, a technique that fascinates me and have never had the occasion to try it out. It's very different because you have the possibility to mix the colors as you like. This color combination is lovely, pleasant to the eye. I'd be happy to own this one.
I'm curious to see if you have a favorite and which it is. Let me know in a comment.

The first piece is one of my favourites. The textures and details that can be seen in the close-ups are beautiful and of very high quality.
I also liked the piece that seems somewhat abstract, both the shapes and the colours and their combinations.
The last one is striking because of the colours, and I always like to make my paintings very colourful, as well as the designs. The red gives the piece a lot of strength, and the felting is very beautiful.
I'm glad you were able to find a few that you like. There was a great variety to choose from and even though it's not for all tastes, to fit them all, I think we can all find a favorite. Nice selections @avdesing!
I haven't found textile art like this in my city yet, but I'm sure it will be there at some point, and I'll be there to bring it back. It's a wonderful world!
And another amazing art article!!!... Applause!
Thank you @jlinaresp, I really appreciate it.
And I really appreciate looking at your works about art exhibitions!.... I live in a place where there is hardly a single small exhibition hall with few paintings, so for me to see your posts is like “traveling” 😃... Sending again big appaluse in behalf of the @visualshots and @discovery-it teams @erikah friend!!!!
Honestly, I feel sorry for those of you, who don't have the opportunities I have and there are so many in this situation, so I'm trying to offer you something to compensate it.
Thank you for all these lovely comments Jesus! 🤗
You really have a sharp eye for the little things most of us might miss. The embroidery on the first piece? Stunning!
I have to have a sharp eye as I'm there, the readers aren't and I have to be able to show them what it really is 😉
I'm glad you like the first one.
Good evening my friend, if we talk about art, the stories may never end, people in this position will continue to create to make others smile, and I myself see that creating such artwork indeed requires extraordinary skill and knowledge to learn it.
Honestly, one day I hope you can make me smile with your artwork 😊😊🙏
Who knows. I can't promise anything, but we'll see 😃
I hope it can happen, and I can see your painting work in person 😀😊
Naah, it won't be painting, I'm planning to do textile art.
Sorry, I thought you would show painting works, but I was wrong in my guess. May I know, what is the difference between painting art and my friend's textile art? Is it true that painting art is made from various colors and textile art is made from knitted materials? 🙏
Happy midsummer! Very beautiful! These excellent jobs. Women should take up the old crafts of the old, it is good for the soul and the feeling that you can ..
