✨ My reflections and wishes about 2024 [ES/EN]

¡Hola queridos amigos! Espero que hayan tenido un gran cierre de año y que este que comienza sea mucho mejor para todos. Hoy decidí hacer mi primera publicación del año acá, ya que me puse un poco reflexiva.

La verdad es que estuve viendo los vision board que compartieron y tenía la intención de hacer uno. No soy de planear nada visual para los comienzos de año, soy más de lo mental, me suelo proponer proyectos o mejoras en mí persona mentalmente o hablando con amigos. Intenté esta nueva modalidad, había empezado un diseño y todo. Pero a la hora de llenarlo estaba completamente en blanco. No sabía que agregar.

Ahí me di cuenta que no tenía ganas de manifestar nada en particular para este año, voy a dejar que me sorprenda. Es muy normal tener deseos que queremos ver cumplidos y quizá logremos algunos y otros no, pero la magia está ahí, en hacer que sucedan. También es cierto que la vida es sorprendente, el año que nos dejó, pasaron cosas que no estaban en mis planes, no las vi venir ni en mis fantasías. Sucedió algo que esperé y desee por casi 12 años y no tenía ni idea de que finalmente pasaría. También adoptamos otro perro que no estaba en nuestros planes, uno viejito que ya nos dejó, su partida nos dolió mucho, pero estamos felices de que hicimos más llevaderos y llenos de amor sus últimos momentos. Y el año fue bueno en general, salvo el último mes que pasaron muchas cosas negativas que lo opacaron bastante.

Sin embargo, nunca perdí el optimismo, ni dejé de ponerle la mejor cara a las fiestas de Navidad y Año Nuevo. Anoche estuvo bastante divertido, más de lo esperado. La pasamos muy bien con la familia, jugué con mis sobrinos, nos tomamos algunas fotografías y nos reímos mucho. Estuvo mejor que el cierre de otros años. Así que quiero confiar que esto significa algo bueno.

Voy a desear lo siguiente para este nuevo comienzo: que sea un buen año. Que la familia se mantenga unida y con salud, que haya trabajo para todos y muchas bendiciones, y voy a estar esperando con los brazos abiertos las sorpresas buenas que traiga este 2024.

Hello dear friends! I hope you had a great end of the year and that this new year will be much better for everyone. Today I decided to make my first post of the year here, since I got a little reflective.

The truth is that I was looking at the vision boards you shared and I had the intention of making one. I'm not one to plan anything visual for the beginning of the year, I'm more of a mental person, I usually propose projects or improvements in myself mentally or talking to friends. I tried this new modality, I had started a design and everything. But when it came time to fill it out it was completely blank. I didn't know what to add.

That's when I realized that I didn't feel like manifesting anything in particular for this year, I'm going to let it surprise me. It is very normal to have wishes that we want to see fulfilled and maybe we will achieve some and not others, but the magic is there, in making them happen. It is also true that life is surprising, the year that left us, things happened that were not in my plans, I did not see them coming or in my fantasies. Something happened that I waited and wished for almost 12 years and had no idea would finally happen. We also adopted another dog that was not in our plans, an old one that left us, his departure hurt us a lot, but we are happy that we made his last moments more bearable and full of love. And the year was good in general, except for the last month when many negative things happened that overshadowed it a lot.

However, I never lost my optimism, nor did I stop putting the best face on the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Last night was quite fun, more than expected. We had a great time with the family, I played with my nieces and nephews, we took some pictures and laughed a lot. It was better than the closing of other years. So I want to trust that this means something good.

I will wish the following for this new beginning: may it be a good year. May the family stay united and healthy, may there be work for all and many blessings, and I will be waiting with open arms for the good surprises that this 2024 will bring.
