¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Espero que se encuentren todas muy bien. Hoy me gustaría participar de las preguntas semanales propuestas por @merit.ahama con temas que nos inspiran.

¿Cuál es el mejor consejo que has recibido de una mujer fuerte? Describe un personaje femenino fuerte que te haya inspirado o te inspire.

Si hablamos de mujeres fuertes es imposible no mencionar a mi madre, aunque por fortuna creo tener varios ejemplos de esta índole en mi círculo íntimo. Pero mi madre siempre está a otro nivel, ella tuvo que trabajar desde muy chica, no porque quisiera sino porque fue obligada a hacerlo. Encima su padre murió muy joven y, si bien mi abuela tenía un negocio en la casa, era necesaria la ayuda de mi mamá. Así que ella se ocupó de trabajar y hacer lo que tenía que hacer en ese entonces. Sin embargo, cuando llegaron sus hijos, a nosotros siempre nos dio la libertad de elegir y nos proporcionó las herramientas necesarias para que podamos abrirnos camino. Hemos cometido errores en este, pero nunca nos juzgo por eso y siempre nos apoyó. Incluso hoy en día, siendo una mujer jubilada cobrando una mísera suma de dinero, aún sigue velando por nosotros y cuidándonos como sea.

Mi madre me dio muchos consejos en la vida, es una mujer que me enseñó a irme donde ya no soy querida, ni valorada. También me enseñó a hacerme respetar y que mi tiempo es valioso, no debo desperdiciarlo en personas que no harían lo mismo por mí. Ella es la de palabras filosas y dichas de manera fría, pero es su forma de ser, aunque a veces puede resultar hiriente. Siempre lo hace desde el lado del amor y al final suele tener razón, pasa que a menudo estamos acostumbrados a que nos disfracen la verdad y eso no va con ella, prefiere escupirla en la cara, pero es igual de valioso aunque no tenga tacto jajaja.

En definitiva, mi madre me enseñó a ser una mujer fuerte a mi manera, incluso creo que mucho más. Me enseñó la libertad y a cuidar mi tiempo, mi energía y a saber cuando retirarme donde ya no hay frutos que cosechar. Me enseñó a renacer de las cenizas una y otra vez, y que a pesar del dolor de las pérdidas siempre se puede volver a sonreír. Ella es mi mayor orgullo y la amo así, tal cual es.

Escribe sobre una ocasión en la que superaste tus dudas.

Todo el tiempo estoy peleando con mis dudas de distintas índoles, si seré buena para tal cosa, si terminaré eso que empecé, si tendré éxito o fracasare. Las dudas son parte de mi vida y la verdad es que tuve muchos momentos donde sentía que no iba a poder, que jamás iba a lograr salir de esa tristeza infinita o de que siempre iba a quedarme estancada, pero lo cierto es que sí pude. Al final no me rendí, ni le hice caso a mis dudas, sino que me armé de valor y tras cada tropiezo o caída volvía a levantarme, me curaba las heridas y al tiempo lo volvía a intentar con más determinación y así hasta que salía. Ese es mi método de actuar en la vida, puedo dar la impresión de sentirme vencida y que ya no puedo más, pero no, solo estoy haciendo una parada para cargar energía e intentarlo de nuevo con mucho más empeño y fortaleza. Creo que eso también lo aprendí de mi madre. Aún tengo muchos momentos de dudas, pero sé que tarde o temprano lograré superarlos y estaré lista para el siguiente reto.

Hello, dear Ladies of Hive! I hope you are all doing well. Today, I would like to participate in the weekly questions proposed by @merit.ahama with topics that inspire us.

What's the best advice you've ever recieved from a strong woman? Describe a strong female character who inspired or inspires you.

When talking about strong women, it is impossible not to mention my mother, although fortunately I believe I have several examples of this kind in my inner circle. But my mother is always on another level. She had to work from a very young age, not because she wanted to, but because she was forced to. On top of that, her father died very young, and although my grandmother had a business at home, my mother's help was needed. So she took care of working and doing what she had to do at the time. However, when her children came along, she always gave us the freedom to choose and provided us with the necessary tools to make our own way. We have made mistakes along the way, but she never judged us for them and always supported us. Even today, as a retired woman earning a meager sum of money, she still watches over us and takes care of us in any way she can.

My mother gave me a lot of advice in life. She is a woman who taught me to leave when I am no longer loved or valued. She also taught me to demand respect and that my time is valuable, so I shouldn't waste it on people who wouldn't do the same for me. She is sharp-tongued and cold, but that's just the way she is, even though it can sometimes be hurtful. She always does it out of love, and in the end, she's usually right. It's just that we're often used to having the truth sugarcoated, and that's not her style. She prefers to spit it in your face, but it's just as valuable even if it's not tactful, ha ha ha.

Ultimately, my mother taught me to be a strong woman in my own way, and I believe even more than that. She taught me freedom and to take care of my time and energy, and to know when to walk away when there are no more fruits to harvest. She taught me to rise from the ashes again and again, and that despite the pain of loss, you can always smile again. She is my greatest pride, and I love her just the way she is.

Write about a time when you overcame self-doubt.

I am constantly battling doubts of various kinds: whether I will be good at something, whether I will finish what I started, whether I will succeed or fail. Doubts are part of my life, and the truth is that there were many moments when I felt that I would not be able to do it, that I would never be able to escape that endless sadness or that I would always remain stuck, but the truth is that I did manage it. In the end, I didn't give up, nor did I listen to my doubts. Instead, I gathered my courage and after every stumble or fall, I got back up, healed my wounds, and in time, I tried again with more determination until I succeeded. That's how I approach life. I may give the impression that I feel defeated and that I can't go on, but no, I'm just taking a break to recharge my batteries and try again with even more determination and strength. I think I learned that from my mother too. I still have many moments of doubt, but I know that sooner or later I will overcome them and be ready for the next challenge.
