🌸 Ladies of Hive Contest #259: Tour guide and anime character I identify with [ES/EN]

¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Espero que se encuentren todas muy bien. En esta semana tenemos un nuevo concurso comunitario con preguntas que nos hacen reflexionar acerca de distintos escenarios y nos invitan a jugar con la imaginación de la mano de @kerrislravenhill.

Según mi modelo financiero para la jubilación, podría permitirme un viaje al extranjero casi cada dos años. Me gustaría que mis hermanas y hermanos de Hive planificaran una visita de tres días a su ciudad natal. ¿Qué haríamos y adónde iríamos para que pudiera conocer su cultura?

Una pregunta muy divertida, no creo ser muy buena guía turística, pero ofrezco mi mayor esfuerzo. Como vivo en Buenos Aires, Argentina, sería un recorrido emblemático por lugares de acá que todo el mundo quiere conocer: caminar por la calles de San Telmo y Caminito, conocer un poco de la cultura del Tango y sus bailes, visitar el Obelisco y como idea general creo que te gustaría conocer nuestro cementerio más popular que es el de Recoleta, donde descansan varias personalidades famosas de nuestra historia. Además, es un lugar que está rodeado por un parque grande y los fines de semana hay una feria de artesanías muy bonita para recorrer.

Por otro lado, ofrecería una parada obligatoria a una de las librerías más hermosas que existen y que se encuentra en mi país, El Ateneo Grand Splendid, un teatro que se convirtió en librería. A mí me gusta mucho la lectura, por lo que cada persona que llega a Buenos Aires la quiero llevar ahí para que la conozca, es uno de mis paraísos literarios. También me gustaría enseñar la gastronomía de mi país, comer un rico asado y que conozcan el sabor del verdadero dulce de leche, un manjar. Bueno, entre otras cosas, esto sería lo esencial en una visita por los lugares donde hábito.

El estilo de entretenimiento del anime y el manga se ha vuelto muy popular en el mundo occidental. ¿Con qué personaje o personajes de anime o manga te identificas más y por qué?

Hace un par de meses que no veo un anime, pero me gustan mucho y me alegra que se estén volviendo más populares, a tal punto de que sea más fácil acceder a ellos a través de las plataformas para ver series y películas.

Esta es una buena pregunta, pero creo que tengo una respuesta. Uno de mis animes favoritos de la vida es Inuyasha y creo que puedo sentirme identificada con Kagome, la protagonista, es una muchacha simple, quitando el hecho de que tiene un don espiritual y es la reencarnación de una sacerdotisa muy poderosa. Ella es un personaje que nunca fue ambicioso, ni se le subió el poder a la cabeza, siempre estaba dispuesta a ayudar a quienes la necesitaban y sabe ser una gran amiga y compañera. Además, es responsable, nunca descuidó sus estudios ni cuando estaba cazando demonios y en búsqueda de la perla de Shikon fragmentada por culpa de ella misma, es decir, intenta remendar su error. Otro rasgo característico que me identifica con ella es su manera de querer y proteger a los suyos, ella es incondicional, incluso aunque le hayan rotó el corazón. Me gusta que nunca se rindió ante las adversidades y supo superar cada obstáculo que se le puso en su camino sin cambiar su esencia, parece tranquila, pero también tiene carácter y no duda en sacarlo cuando es necesario. En definitiva, es un personaje que brilla por sí misma y me veo reflejada en estos rasgos de su personalidad.

Hello, dear Ladies of Hive! I hope you are all doing well. This week we have a new community contest with questions that make us reflect on different scenarios and invite us to play with our imagination, courtesy of @kerrislravenhill.

According to my post retirement financial model, I could almost afford an overseas trip every other year. I'd like my Hive sisters or brothers to plan my 3-day visit to your home town or city. What would we do and where would we go for me to experience your culture?

That's a very interesting question. I don't think I'm a very good tour guide, but I'll do my best. Since I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, it would be an iconic tour of places here that everyone wants to see: walking through the streets of San Telmo and Caminito, learning a little about the culture of tango and its dances, visiting the Obelisco, and as a general idea, I think you would like to see our most popular cemetery, Recoleta, where several famous figures from our history are buried. It's also surrounded by a large park, and on weekends there's a very nice craft fair to explore.

On the other hand, I would offer a mandatory stop at one of the most beautiful bookstores in existence, located in my country, El Ateneo Grand Splendid, a theater that was converted into a bookstore. I love reading, so I want to take everyone who comes to Buenos Aires there to see it; it's one of my literary paradises. I would also like to introduce them to my country's cuisine, eat a delicious asado, and let them taste real dulce de leche, a delicacy. Well, among other things, these would be the essentials of a visit to the places where I live.

The Anime and Manga style of entertainment has become very popular in the western world. What Anime or Manga character(s) do you best identify with, and why?

I haven't watched anime in a couple of months, but I really like it and I'm glad it's becoming more popular, to the point where it's easier to access it through platforms for watching series and movies.

That's a good question, but I think I have an answer. One of my favorite anime series of all time is Inuyasha, and I think I can identify with Kagome, the main character. She's a simple girl, except for the fact that she has spiritual powers and is the reincarnation of a very powerful priestess. She is a character who was never ambitious, nor did power go to her head. She was always willing to help those in need and knows how to be a great friend and companion. She is also responsible and never neglected her studies, even when she was hunting demons and searching for the Shikon Jewel, which she herself had broken. In other words, she tries to make up for her mistake. Another characteristic trait that I identify with is her way of loving and protecting her loved ones. She is unconditional, even when her heart has been broken. I like that she never gave up in the face of adversity and knew how to overcome every obstacle that stood in her way without changing her essence. She seems calm, but she also has character and does not hesitate to show it when necessary. In short, she is a character who shines on her own, and I see myself reflected in these traits of her personality.
