🌸 Ladies of HIve Contest #254: Happy 5th anniversary to Ladies of Hive! [ES/EN]

¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Antes que nada les deseo un feliz aniversario a esta comunidad tan especial para las mujeres que comentamos cosas de nuestras vidas por acá, son increíbles y hacen un excelente trabajo cada semana, ojalá que vengan muchos aniversarios más. Ahora sí, es momento de participar de las preguntas de la semana de la mano de @priyanarc que tienen que ver con el aniversario de la comunidad.

Si pudieras traer un plato, bebida o dulce especial a nuestra mesa de aniversario, ¿cuál sería y qué anécdota o recuerdo lo hace especial para ti?

Esta es una pregunta muy interesante, me considero buena con los postres aunque tampoco los hago tanto. Lo que más suelo hacer últimamente son lo que acá les llamamos "pastelitos" es una tapa de masa, un poco de dulce de membrillo o de batata y cerramos con otra tapa de masa. Lo freímos y listo, tenemos un postre tanto dulce como salado y es muy rico. Es un dulce ideal para festividades patrias en mi país, así que los solemos preparar seguido. Son significativos porque los preparamos en conjunto con mi madre y es un lindo momento de trabajo en equipo.

¿Qué deseo o bendición le darías a la comunidad de Ladies of Hive al celebrar este hito?

Deseo de todo corazón que la comunidad siga creciendo, que se sume más gente y que siga siendo un espacio tan cálido y comprensivo para que las damas podamos contar y compartir nuestros pensamientos e inquietudes como lo venimos haciendo desde hace mucho tiempo. También espero que todos sus miembros tengan muchas bendiciones en sus vidas y que sigan cumpliendo muchos más aniversarios para festejar juntos.

La tercera pregunta se las debo porque no se me ocurrió ninguna canción para dedicarle a la comunidad, pero sepan que son todas personas increíbles y que me alegra haber coincidido en este espacio con todas ustedes 💕

Hello, dear Ladies of Hive! First of all, I would like to wish this special community a happy anniversary. You women who share things about your lives here are incredible and do an excellent job every week. I hope there will be many more anniversaries to come. Now it's time to participate in this week's questions from @priyanarc, which are related to the community's anniversary.

If you could bring one special dish, drink, or treat to our anniversary table, what would it be and what story or memory makes it special to you?

This is a very interesting question. I consider myself good at making desserts, although I don't make them that often. Lately, I've been making what we call “pastelitos,” which are small pastries made with a layer of dough, a little quince or sweet potato jam, and another layer of dough on top. We fry it and that's it, we have a dessert that is both sweet and savory and very tasty. It's an ideal dessert for national holidays in my country, so we make them often. They are meaningful because we make them together with my mother and it's a nice moment of teamwork.

What’s one wish or blessing you would give to the Ladies of Hive community as we celebrate this milestone?

I sincerely hope that the community continues to grow, that more people join, and that it remains such a warm and understanding space for us ladies to share our thoughts and concerns, as we have been doing for so long. I also hope that all its members receive many blessings in their lives and that they continue to celebrate many more anniversaries together.

I owe you the third question because I couldn't think of a song to dedicate to the community, but know that you are all incredible people and that I am happy to have met you all in this space 💕
