This is a tough time for hive blockchain. I have interaction with the people using hive since 2018. Since then it has changed a lot. There had been ups and downs in price of Hive tokens. Even it fell below $0.09 perhaps in 2020 during covid period. Thereafter, hive even crossed $3 in 2021. This time hive again dipped below $0.09. Hive price has fallen below $0.13 price band. It may drop further.

I have less than 1300 hive tokens (staked+free) in my wallet and about 277 hive tokens in hive-engine. Roughly, the value of my tokens is less than $200. This is not a small amount for me because every penny is important for me. Inspite of losing value Hive have a potential to rise again. I don't know what will be the future of this blockchain but I am not going to power down from my wallet. I'll power up again when #hivepud will come on 1st of November. I am ready for it.

With this, would you also encourage newbies in the Hive blockchain to buy more Hive to powerup or ask them to observe and wait.

Am really curious to know because am still getting to know how the blockchain works fully.
