Espero todos se encuentren muy bien. No he podido integrarme a mis actividades normales como creadora de contenido debido a los cortes eléctricos prolongados a veces durante casi todo el día.
Como parte de las impresiones que hice para aprovechar material de mi publicación anterior acerca de sublimación, hoy traigo otra propuesta con otro modelo muy diferente de bolsito, me pareció tan fresco y bello que no veía la hora de poder compartirlo. Hubiera querido grabar el proceso en vídeo sin embargo por ahora os traigo el paso a paso para lograrlo, que sirva de inspiración a futuros proyectos.

I hope you are all doing well. I have not been able to resume my normal activities as a content creator due to prolonged power cuts, sometimes lasting almost the entire day.
As part of the impressions I made to take advantage of material from my previous post about sublimation, today I bring you another proposal with a very different bag model. I found it so fresh and beautiful that I couldn't wait to share it. I would have liked to record the process on video, but for now, I bring you the step-by-step instructions to achieve it, which will serve as inspiration for future projects.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

Hoy usé la plancha grande pues la mini plancha para sublimar, no cubre todo el diseño, es para piezas más pequeñas.
Precalienta la plancha hasta 180°C.
Mientras tanto es bueno con una plancha casera, planchar la tela, deja enfriar.
Coloca el diseño con la pintura frente a la tela al derecho y usa la cinta
térmica para fijar el diseño que no se mueva.
Con la plancha ya caliente, coloca la pieza a sublimar sobre ella y sobre la tela coloca la lámina de teflón.
Baja la plancha y deja por 40 segundos. Abre la plancha y si no la usarás más apaga.

Today I used the large iron because the mini iron for sublimation does not cover the entire design; it is for smaller pieces.
Preheat the iron to 180°C.
In the meantime, it is a good idea to iron the fabric with a household iron and let it cool.
Place the design with the paint facing the fabric and use thermal tape
to secure the design so that it does not move.
With the iron already hot, place the piece to be sublimated on it and place the Teflon sheet on top of the fabric.
Lower the iron and leave for 40 seconds. Open the iron and if you are not going to use it anymore, turn it off.

Deja enfriar la pieza.
Retira el papel con la cinta térmica con mucho cuidado.
Corta el largo de las asas de la bolsita, he usado cinta gross.
Voltea dejando el diseño hacia adentro y cierra los laterales del bolso con una recta.
Quema los bordes con un yesquero. Evitará deshilache.

Allow the piece to cool.
Carefully remove the paper with the heat-activated tape.
Cut the length of the bag handles; I used grosgrain ribbon.
Turn the bag inside out and close the sides with a straight stitch.
Seal the edges with a lighter to prevent fraying.

Cose zig zag por los laterales.
Usa un cuadrito de 2cm por 2cm. y marca ambas esquinas, luego recorta.
Dobla la pieza por la mitad y cierra con una recta.
Cose un dobladillo con la cinta gross para dar un buen acabado en la costura anterior.

Sew a zigzag stitch along the sides.
Use a 2 cm by 2 cm square and mark both corners, then cut out.
Fold the piece in half and close with a straight stitch.
Sew a hem with the grosgrain ribbon to give a nice finish to the previous seam.

Voltea la pieza.
Plancha un dobladillo en la parte superior de la abertura para facilitar la costura.
Coloca y fija las asas con ayuda de unas pinzas.
Cierra con una recta de doble costura en la parte superior de la pieza fijando las asas del bolsito.
Me ha encantado este proyecto, aunque lo hice pensando en un día de playa, un útil bolsito para guardar tus cremas hidratantes, bronceadores, aceites y cosméticos que normalmente llevamos a esos lugares para consentirnos.... Su tamaño es perfecto para guardar tres mazos de mi colección de cartas de tarot XD!

Turn the piece over.
Iron a hem at the top of the opening to make sewing easier.
Position and secure the handles with the help of some clips.
Close with a double straight stitch at the top of the piece, securing the bag handles.
I loved this project, although I made it with a day at the beach in mind, a useful little bag to store your moisturisers, sunscreens, oils and cosmetics that we normally take to those places to pamper ourselves.... Its size is perfect for storing three decks of my tarot card collection XD!
