Los hijos del ayer, es una película que te tocará las fibras de tu ser, debo decir que desde el principio no sabía de qué trataba, solo hice "Clic" tal vez el destino o el azar o cosas de "algoritmo" me llevó a ella, desde el comienzo me atrapó y no pude dejar de verla hasta el final.
Desde el comienzo de la película nos advierten que son "hechos de la vida real" y al menos en mi caso, cuando pasan estas cosas, presto más atención de lo usual. A veces pasan cosas inexplicables en las vidas de las personas y como no tiene explicación para la ciencia o la religión les llaman "milagros o hechos paranormales".
El guión está bien narrado y estudiado, contando la historia sin enfocarse en religión, ciencia o encasillarse en hechos paranormales, tan solo contar la experiencia real de una mujer que pudo hacer algo extraordinario o como ellos describieron en la misma "glorioso" en la vida de una familia.
Capturada completamente, las historia la escenografía, la fotografía, los actores en general, no por un suspenso, es ir tejiendo tu mismo los hechos para comprenderlos.
Gran parte de la película me pareció sacada de uno de los libros del psiquiatra Brian Weiss. Tal vez es por eso que conecté tan profundo con la historia hasta lograr una total comprensión de la misma. De verdad los invito a verla.

Yesterday's children, is a movie that will touch the fibers of your being, I must say that from the beginning I did not know what it was about, I just "Clicked" maybe fate or chance or things of "algorithm" led me to it, from the beginning it caught me and I could not stop watching it until the end.
From the beginning of the movie we are warned that these are "real life events" and at least in my case, when these things happen, I pay more attention than usual. Sometimes unexplainable things happen in people's lives and since there is no explanation for science or religion they call them "miracles or paranormal events".
The script is well narrated and researched, telling the story without focusing on religion, science or pigeonholing paranormal events, just telling the real experience of a woman who was able to do something extraordinary or as they described in the same "glorious" in the life of a family.
Captured completely, the story, the scenography, the photography, the actors in general, not for a suspense, it is to go weaving yourself the facts to understand them.
Much of the film seemed to me to be taken from one of the books by psychiatrist Brian Weiss. Maybe that's why I connected so deeply with the story until I fully understood it. I truly invite you to see it.

Los actores protagonistas los había visto en otras películas, son excelentes actores, me pareció muy curioso que sea del año 2000 su estreno, es como si el tiempo no hubiera transcurriendo o si hubiera sido ayer, no tiene ningún tipo de desperdicio.
Jenny es una profesional de arquitectura, trabaja junto a su esposo Doug en un negocio familiar, tienen un hijo mayor que está por ir a la universidad llamado Kevin, se ven la familia perfecta.
Jenny desde pequeña tenía sueños recurrentes con una familia de los años 30, ella tomaba lápices y describía todo lo que veía a través de dibujos, a su madre le parecía muy curioso y guardó cada detalle. Jenny creció, se caso, tiene una familia, y luego de pasar la edad de los 40 años queda en estado nuevamente y con ello regresaron los sueños despierta y dormida donde cada vez los sentía más real. Preocupada por esto buscó ayuda profesional médica.
Adicional a la fotografía que fue estupendo ver la ambientación de la Irlanda de los años 30's, el vestuario, el guión, los actores y la historia, agrego una nota de perfección con banda sonora o soundtrack de verdad que disfruté en todo sentido la película hasta un ¡Wow!

I had seen the main actors in other movies, they are excellent actors, I found it very curious that it was released in 2000, it is as if time had not passed or if it had been yesterday, it has no waste.
Jenny is an architecture professional, she works with her husband Doug in a family business, they have an older son who is about to go to college named Kevin, they look like the perfect family.
Jenny since she was a little girl had recurring dreams of a family from the 30's, she would take pencils and describe everything she saw through drawings, her mother found it very curious and kept every detail. Jenny grew up, got married, had a family, and after she passed the age of 40 she was pregnant again and with it came back the waking and sleeping dreams where she felt them more and more real. Concerned about this, she sought professional medical help.
In addition to the photography which was great to see the setting of Ireland in the 30's, the costumes, the script, the actors and the story, I add a note of perfection with the soundtrack, I really enjoyed the film in every way until a Wow!

Jenny se sentía más perturbada por las imágenes tan reales en su mente de esa familia y lo mal que lo estaban pasando, para los médicos todo estaba bien y le dijeron que podría ser parte del embarazo alegando que todo pasaría, pero... los sueños eran más recurrentes y no podía hacer su vida normal, su esposo al principio no la apoyaba y esto la frustraba, hasta que conoció a un psiquiatra y le practico una hipnosis donde fueron revelándose muchas cosas.
Más intrigada aun, comenzó a investigar si las personas fueron reales, si aquella mujer y sus hijos de verdad existieron y no pienso hacer spoiler de nada ni de sus nombres, porque quiero que vivas la experiencia desde cero como yo.
Sin embargo puedo decir que Jenny hizo un acto de fe en sí misma y ayudó a una familia a reencontrarse, mientras que la suya se fortalecía.
Es tan importante en una relación que ambos se poyen en las buenas y las malas, que se tengan paciencia sobre todo y mucha empatía. Al principio su esposo Doug y su hijo Kevin fueron muy duros con Jenny, Kevin como adolescente un poco rebelde, pero me hizo feliz ver cómo fue cambiando y apoyar a su madre en encontrar a estas personas y recuperar el control de su vida, trayendo paz a su corazón y su alma.
Las "visiones" hicieron a Jenny viajar y escudriñar la historia, la conexión entre el alma de aquella mujer que deseaba reunir de nuevo a sus hijos y saber lo que ocurrió con ellos... Viendo que la película habla de un tiempo de los años 30's y Jenny tenía 42 años lo impresionante que fue saber si alguien seguía con vida y eso tú tienes que descubrirlo...
Contarte parte de esta historia me hace revivir la película y mis ojos se nublan y siento mi corazón arrugarse, pero no de emociones tristes, de verdad se siente esperanzador y bonito.

Jenny felt more disturbed by the very real images in her mind of that family and how bad they were going through, for the doctors everything was fine and they told her that it could be part of the pregnancy claiming that everything would pass, but... the dreams were more recurrent and she could not do her normal life, her husband at first did not support her and this frustrated her, until she met a psychiatrist and he practiced a hypnosis where many things were revealed.
Even more intrigued she began to investigate if the people were real, if that woman and her children really existed and I will not spoiler anything or their names, because I want you to live the experience from scratch like me.
However I can say that Jenny made an act of faith in herself and helped a family reunite, while her own was strengthened.
It is so important in a relationship that you both support each other through thick and thin, that you have patience above all else and a lot of empathy. At first her husband Doug and son Kevin were very hard on Jenny, Kevin as a teenager a bit rebellious, but it made me happy to see how he was changing and supporting his mother in finding these people and regaining control of her life, bringing peace to her heart and soul.
The "visions" made Jenny travel and scrutinize the story, the connection between the soul of that woman who wanted to reunite again her children and know what happened to them.... Seeing that the movie talks about a time in the 30's and Jenny was 42 years old how impressive it was to know if someone was still alive and that you have to find out....
Telling you part of this story makes me relive the movie and my eyes get misty and I feel my heart crinkle, but not from sad emotions, it really feels hopeful and beautiful.
