Ha pasado una semana desde la última vez que compartimos ¿Qué pasa con el tiempo? Se está yendo demasiado rápido. Aunque confieso que los domingos los tomo como un ritual de descanso en el que me permito ver una película descansar y disfrutarla, la película que les traigo hoy para recomendar es sencillamente sublime, me ha flipado y en mi idioma que muchos conocen: es orgásmica (para referirme que es demasiado estupenda)
Shortcut to happines me pareció una película siguiendo la temática de otra película muy exitosa: "Al diablo con el diablo" solo que el tema es un poco más serio, aunque ambas están en la misma categoría de comedia.
El guión es estupendo, creo que el elenco o reparto lo hizo espectacular, sin embargo por algunas razones que difiero no fue un éxito de taquilla, tal vez, pensaron que superarían el doble del éxito que tuvo "Al diablo con el diablo", sin embargo tiene un estilo maduro y sublime, no tan gracioso como lo debería ser una película de comedia, es más drama e introspección, tiene profundas moralejas.

It's been a week since we last shared What's wrong with time? It's going too fast. Although I confess that Sundays I take them as a ritual of rest in which I allow myself to watch a movie to rest and enjoy it, the movie I bring you today to recommend is simply sublime, it blew me away and in my language that many acquaintances know: it's orgasmic (to refer that it is too great).
Shortcut to happines seemed to me a movie following the theme of another very successful movie: "To hell with the devil" only that the theme is a little more serious, although both are in the same category of comedy.
The script is great, however I think the cast made it spectacular, however for some reasons that I differ it was not a box office success, maybe, they thought they would get over twice the success of "To hell with the devil", however it has a mature and sublime style, not as funny as a comedy movie should be it is more drama and introspection, it has deep morals.

Acerca del reparto, ya con los actores y actrices que nombraré es la excusa perfecta para que lo veas: los tres principales: Anthony Hopkins (Daniel Webster), el elegante super bello: Alec Baldwin (Bez Stone) y la talentosa Jennifer Love Hewitt (El diablo), Dan Aykroyd (julis jensen) que extrañaba ver tanto en películas, de verdad que ver estrellas exitosas juntas en una película es estupendo, creo que las personas suelen quejarse porque esperaban más de ellas pero pienso que dentro del guión estuvo fenomenal.
Anthony Hopkins lo podemos ver nuevamente en su papel de enigmático, exitoso, defensor y sofisticado personaje, Jennifer Love por su parte, la vemos interpretando a alguien muy sexy, pienso que le faltó un poco más de voluptuosidad en comparación con "Al diablo con el diablo" Superar a Elizabeth Hurley es algo difícil, pero Jennifer pudo brillar con luz propia y hacer de su personaje alguien fantástico donde no solo es la maldad pura, nos muestra lo sexy con elegancia.
La fotografía es buena, pienso que fue grabada mayormente en interiores, en sets de grabación, lo cual intuyo que ayudó mucho con el presupuesto, no me parece una película de mucho presupuesto, tal vez tuvieron que reinventarse para minimizar el gasto de tener a tales artistas en ella, encontraron equilibrio, pues hay escenas que pienso pudieron ser grabadas en exteriores algo más oxigenada.

Anthony Hopkins we can see him again in his role of enigmatic, successful, defender and sophisticated character, Jennifer Love on the other hand, we see her playing someone very sexy, I think she lacked a little more voluptuousness compared to "To hell with the devil" To surpass Elizabeth Hurley is something difficult, but Jennifer could shine with her own light and make her character someone fantastic where she is not only pure evil, she shows us the sexy with elegance.
The photography is good, I think it was filmed mostly indoors, on film sets, which I think helped a lot with the budget, it does not seem to me a big budget film, maybe they had to reinvent themselves to minimize the expense of having such artists in it, they found balance, as there are scenes that I think could have been filmed outdoors something more oxygenated.

Hay escenas que amé, me super encantaron no te las puedes perder, la más impactante es el juicio, el enfrentamiento entre los dos bandos, eso fue sublime.
El guión no nos deja con huecos, vacíos, más bien puede que te haga pensar acerca de las cosas que deseas de la vida. En lo personal esto lo pude ver hace años cuando comprendí que por mucho éxito que tengas o alcances todo lo que esperas en la vida, te das cuenta que estar justo en ese momento de "gloria" si no tienes con quien compartirla es solo "una copa vacía" (Doc Hudson - Cars) Al final siempre es el camino, las personas que te acompañaron y te ayudaron, las experiencias y la vida es lo que importa.
No hay atajos a la felicidad y no las deberías tomar, es el llamado de atención principal de esta película, donde puedes ver a un escritor vender su alma por un poco de fama, la fama no lo condujo a nada mas bien a la perdida de todos los que lo acompañaron desde sus inicios y al final, el dolor lo llevó a querer regresar al punto de partida y tomar el camino largo donde mucha gente nos espera para acompañarnos.
Por favor: ¡No dejes de verla! Si ya la viste, cuéntame tu experiencia.

STOPFunny, I haven't seen that movie, but the title sounded familiar, and from what you said, I understand why. Is it a remake of a 1941 film called All That Money Can Buy? I think it's that one. I didn't know it was a comedy; I thought it was more of a drama. From the cast you mentioned, it sounds great. Jennifer Love Hewitt as the devil... I'm curious to see that one.
