Continuo con mi colección de llaveros bordados, en esta ocasión he bordado la letra "S" fue algo sencilla de hacer, solo hay que tener mucho cuidado de la forma para evitar que se abra, ya me sucedió con la letra "E", así que mientras más pequeñas las hacemos mejor.
Espero les guste este modelo, tuve dificultad para ver exactamente el color, no sé si es verde o azul :S Espero la combinación de colores que usé sea agradable a sus ojos.
Me encantan las lentejuelas transparentes estas son algo colorinas, no son tornasol peor son igual de bellas.

I continue with my collection of embroidered keychains, this time I embroidered the letter "S" was something simple to do, you just have to be very careful of the shape to prevent it from opening, it already happened to me with the letter "E", so the smaller we make them the better.
I hope you like this model, I had difficulty to see exactly the color, I don't know if it's green or blue :S I hope the color combination I used is pleasing to your eyes.
I love the transparent sequins, these are a bit colorful, they are not iridescent but they are just as beautiful.

Utiliza una letra molde, esta la puedes copiar de cualquier programa o cartillas escolares.
Marca la forma en el fieltro y recorta.
Organiza tu espacio con los materiales que vas a usar.

Mark the shape on the felt and cut it out.
Organize your space with the materials you are going to use.

Las lentejuelas en muchas ocasiones vienen cosidas en una tira, hay que desarmarlas y soltarlas.
Anuda tu hilo en la aguja y ponte a bordar, irás cosiendo el borde primero, borda la orilla de toda la pieza. Primero la lentejuela luego la mostacilla y luego introduce la aguja nuevamente por el orificio de la lentejuela atravesando el fieltro.

The sequins often come sewn in a strip, you have to take them apart and untie them.
Knot your thread in the needle and start embroidering, you will sew the edge first, embroider the edge of the whole piece. First the sequin then the mustard and then insert the needle again through the hole of the sequin through the felt.

Luego de bordar todo el borde, organizamos el siguiente paso, desprendiendo las lentejuelas de la tira del otro color y continuamos bordando, pero esta vez rellenando el espacio interno.

Una vez termines de cubrir el espacio interno bordando las lentejuelas, mide un trozo de cadena, ajústala al aro de llavero, luego cose la punta de la cadena por la parte trasera de la letra.

Once you have finished covering the inner space by embroidering the sequins, measure a piece of chain, attach it to the key ring, then sew the end of the chain to the back of the letter.

Colocamos silicón frío en la parte trasera de la letra bordada y pega otro trozo de fieltro. Recorta el borde sobrante de la letra con la tijera.
Tengo un llavero más para mi colección, una nueva letra, disfrutando de este proceso terapéutico. Espero que les guste también, no dejen de ver el vídeo, lo hice con mucho amor.

Place cold silicone on the back of the embroidered letter and glue another piece of felt. Trim the excess edge of the letter with the scissors.

That note about your E opening made the “go smaller” tip click, especially with the curves on S. Backing with felt and stitching the chain to the back sounds sturdy, and the sequin-then-bead sequence gives such a neat border. I’m calling that color teal, so you’re both right. Do you ever add interfacing or double the felt for tricky letters, or is sizing tight enough?
No, I don't fold the edges, but I've thought about sewing it by machine with zig zag, however I see it very difficult because of the small size.... Someday I'll try it, maybe I'll give it a better finish.
