He estado con muchas ganas de volver a practicar la filigrana o quilling, esta vez con una letra más pequeña aunque se trata de la misma "E" que me identifica, es realmente pequeña, cabe en mi mano, es del tamaño de un oráculo de cartas. Tal vez lo coloque como decoración en mis lecturas, me quedó más bonito que los anteriores.

Los colores que usé para combinar: Verde, fucsia y amarillo. Justo hoy me llegó a la mano un trozo de cartón y cuando lo vi enseguida pensé: Este cartón es perfecto para reciclarlo y hacer letras con él. No me equivoqué porque quedó estupendo del tamaño que quería.

Ahora les muestro el paso a paso de lo que he aprendido con Dayadam, hoy usé una herramienta que me hizo un artesano para enrollar el papel y otros usos, la verdad me fue muy útil.

I've been eager to get back to practicing filigree or quilling, this time with a smaller letter, although it's the same "E" that identifies me. It's really small, fits in my hand, and is the size of an oracle card. Maybe I'll use it as a decoration in my readings. It turned out prettier than the previous ones.
The colors I used to combine: green, fuchsia, and yellow. Just today, I came across a piece of cardboard, and when I saw it, I immediately thought: This cardboard is perfect for recycling and making letters with. I was right because it turned out great, just the size I wanted.
Now I'll show you step by step what I've learned with Dayadam. Today I used a tool that a craftsman made for me to roll paper and for other uses. It was really useful.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

Step 1️⃣/ Paso 1️⃣

Dibuja la letra en el cartón y recorta, yo usé el cutter y la regla para que quedara más derecho.

Pega la letra en el papel de fondo y deja secar.

Corta la forma de la letra por los bordes con ayuda del cutter.

Con los otros papeles cortarás la cantidad de tiras que necesites para decorar, las tiras tienen 1.5 centímetros de ancho por el largo del papel tamaño carta.

Draw the letter on the cardboard and cut it out. I used a craft knife and a ruler to make it straighter.
Glue the letter onto the background paper and let it dry.
Cut around the edges of the letter using the craft knife.
Cut the other sheets of paper into as many strips as you need for decoration. The strips should be 1.5 centimeters wide and the length of the letter-size paper.

Recorta las tiras necesarias del papel de color del fondo.

Bordea toda la letra pegando el papel.

Cut out the necessary strips of colored paper for the background.
Edge the entire letter by gluing the paper.

Step 3️⃣/ paso 3️⃣

Coloca aun trozo de pegamento en una punta y comienza a enrollar el papel sobre la herramienta. Hice formas básicas, la intención es hacer pétalos de flores y hojas. Así que creé varios colores con sus pistilos. Luego formas muy curiosas enrolladas más alargadas, y para cubrir algunos espacios, pequeñas hojas.

En mi caso, comencé a decorar, empezando por los pétalos, para elaborar los pétalos, empiezas de una forma básica como un círculo, sueltas un poco el papel y coloca pegamento, luego aprietas en un extremo.

Pega los Pétalos que forman las flores a la letra.

Put a bit of glue on one end and start rolling the paper around the tool. I made basic shapes, the intention being to make flower petals and leaves. So I created several colors with their pistils. Then I made some very curious, more elongated rolled shapes, and to cover some spaces, small leaves.
In my case, I started decorating, beginning with the petals. To make the petals, start with a basic shape like a circle, loosen the paper a little and apply glue, then press down on one end.
Glue the petals that form the flowers to the letter.

Step 4️⃣/ paso 4️⃣

Ahora pega las cintas de formas onduladas en algunos espacios, luego coloca los pistilos de las flores y rellena espacios con las piezas del color amarillo.

Enrolla un papel y pega en la parte superior de la letra,

Rellena los espacios en blanco con hojas de color verde.

Este es un proyecto hermoso y fácil de hacer, recomendado para principiantes.

Now glue the wavy ribbons in some spaces, then place the flower pistils and fill in the spaces with the yellow pieces.
Roll up a piece of paper and glue it to the top of the letter.
Fill in the blank spaces with green leaves.
This is a beautiful and easy project, recommended for beginners.
