Hace días cuando salí compré un kit de diamond painting para entretenerme y desestresarme en casa, por razones de los cortes de servicio eléctrico no había podido compartirlo. Estos kits son muy buenos lo traen todo y son de bajo costo, cuando los vi recordé los kits de bordados que compraba en una tienda que ya cerró, me sentí triste pues era la única tienda que los vendía. Ahora estos kits de diamond painting los puedes encontrar en librerías, mercerías, tiendas de cosméticos y jugueterías, aun no he encontrado motivos para adultos, sin embargo me encanta Hello Kitty y lo quiero en mi mesa de noche, junto con una lámpara que quisiera comprar.

Days ago when I went out I bought a diamond painting kit to entertain and de-stress at home, for reasons of power outages I had not been able to share it. These kits are very good, they bring everything and are low cost, when I saw them I remembered the embroidery kits I used to buy in a store that has already closed, I felt sad because it was the only store that sold them. Now you can find these diamond painting kits in bookstores, haberdasheries, cosmetic stores and toy stores, I haven't found any motifs for adults yet, however I love Hello Kitty and I want it on my bedside table, along with a lamp that I would like to buy.

Abrimos el empaque, sacamos el cuadro, dentro de él están los materiales y herramientas.
El diseño tiene números marcados, la misma numeración la encontrarás en cada empaque, solo hay que ir colocando la pieza correspondiente al número.
El diseño además viene con una cubierta de pegamento protegido con un plástico, puedes ir retirando poco a poco a medida que avanzas o hacer como yo, lo retiré por completo porque pretendo trabajar por color, o en este caso, por números.
Organiza tu espacio de una manera muy cómoda para que disfrutes de toda la experiencia.

We open the package, take out the box, inside are the materials and tools.
The design has marked numbers, you will find the same numbering on each package, you just have to place the piece corresponding to the number.
The design also comes with a cover of glue protected with a plastic, you can remove it little by little as you go along or do as I did, I removed it completely because I intend to work by color, or in this case, by numbers.

Elegí comenzar por el número 6 por cubrir un espacio grande, en encontré con algunos problemas típicos de un principiante:
- Mi lápiz para colocar las pequeñas piezas de pedrería no podía sostener la pieza, por lo cual no estaba funcionando, la punta era muy pequeña para el tamaño de la herramienta.
Afortunadamente y recomiendo usar pinzas para bisutería, en mi caso me dio mejor precisión, el trabajo quedó más prolijo y evité los momentos de estrés porque la piedra se caía de la herramienta. De esta manera el proceso fue más placentero.
Coloco todas las piedras correspondientes en todo el diseño al terminar me di cuenta que siempre sobra un poco de material, lo agradecí. el sobrante lo guardé en un recipiente. Seguidamente comencé a trabajar en otro color, el color blanco que viene identificado por el número 3.

I chose to start with number 6 to cover a large space, but I ran into some typical beginner's problems:
-My pencil to place the small pieces of rhinestones could not hold the piece, so it was not working, the tip was too small for the size of the tool.
Fortunately, I recommend using jewelry tweezers, in my case it gave me better precision, the work was neater and I avoided moments of stress because the stone fell out of the tool. This way the process was more pleasant.
I put all the corresponding stones in the whole design and when I finished I realized that there was always a little bit of material left over, I was grateful for it. I kept the excess in a container. Then I started to work on another color, the white color that is identified by the number 3.

Otro de los inconvenientes de novato que encontré es, que no es recomendable colocar muchas piedras en el recipiente, el recipiente trae unas especies de ranuras que hace organizar las piezas en su posición indicada para que podamos tomarlas y pegarlas en el diseño.
Me sentía tan en armonía que paré un momento para hacerme un café y disfrutarlo mientras continuaba con mi proyecto.
Allí voy revisando dónde hay más números correspondientes y si aún quedan espacios me enfoco en rellenarlos con la pedrería, al terminar, escojo un par de colores más, voy rellenando de adentro hacia afuera.

Another of the novice disadvantages I found is that it is not advisable to place many stones in the container, the container has some kind of grooves that organize the pieces in the right position so that we can take them and glue them in the design.
I felt so in harmony that I stopped for a moment to have a coffee and enjoy it while I continued with my project.
There I go checking where there are more corresponding numbers and if there are still spaces left I focus on filling them with the rhinestones, when finished, I choose a couple more colors, I go filling from the inside out.

Relajante, divertido, me ayudó a la concentración, bajar los niveles de estrés y salir de la rutina.
luego de pegar las siguientes piezas para el line art, proceso a rellenar el fondo. Este proceso lo hice en unas 5 horas aproximadamente.
Recuerda que si retiras todo el plástico que protege el pegamento debes evitar tocarlo con las manos para que no pierda adherencia.
Cuando termines, trae un pedazo de plástico liso, esto es par a ayudarte a pasarlo sobre las piezas y queden bien pegadas.
Espero te guste, lo pasé muy bien y he aprendido algo nuevo.

Relaxing, fun, helped me to concentrate, lower stress levels and get out of the routine.
After gluing the next pieces for the line art, I started the process of filling the background. This process took me about 5 hours approximately.
Remember that if you remove all the plastic that protects the glue, you must avoid touching it with your hands so that it does not lose adherence.
When you finish, bring a piece of smooth plastic, this is to help you pass it over the pieces and they will be well glued.
