Es mi primera vez que hago un mono, compré tela Melange con la intención de hacerme algo estilo pantalón Palazzo, me parece que es lo mismo que un mono. Pude haber hecho un jogger pero no me gusta su terminación en el final de los pies. Me gusta más que quede suelto y libre, no se vea como un embutido.
Con un metro de tela se puede hacer para la talla S o M, sin embargo, depende de la altura de la persona yo soy bajita y aun así me valí de un truco que me enseñó mi madre para cuando la tela no alcanza para un ruedo o pretina. Hoy te cuento el secreto. Espero te guste.

This is my first time making a jumpsuit, I bought Melange fabric with the intention of making me something Palazzo pants style, it seems to me that it is the same as a jumpsuit. Yo usé como patrón un Palazzo que me queda bien de talla.
Recorta las piezas. Este modelo se caracteriza porque no tiene muchas costuras, por lo cual debes cortar la pieza de cada pierna completa con la tela doblada.
Toma la medida de tu cintura y corta el tamaño de la coma, cose por el centro con recta y luego zig zag.
Cose uniendo ambas piezas por el tiro.

I used as a pattern a Palazzo that fits me well in size.
Cut out the pieces. This model is characterized because it does not have many seams, so you must cut the piece of each leg complete with the folded fabric.

Luego de verificar que unimos correctamente la pieza con una recta, rematamos con zig zag.
Es necesario cerciorarse que la pieza del tiro quede justo en el centro cuando cerremos las piernas. Ahora cierra con un zig zag y luego pasa una recta por el largo de las piernas del pantalón.

Cose un dobladillo en el ruedo de cada pierna de pantalón.
Toma la pieza de la pretina, cose una recta para unirla.
Ahora dobla al derecho y mide el ancho de la goma, yo preferí cerrar la goma con una recta para evitar que se doble o cosa por error la goma con la tela. Dobla al derecho, introduce la coma y cose una recta.
Este es el truco que me enseñó mi madre, cuando la tela no alcance puedes hacer la pretina aparte y para evitar que se ruede la goma mientras coses y te facilite el trabajo, puedes cerrarla de esta manera, total, no se va a ver la costura una vez la fijes en el pantalón.

Sew a hem on the hem of each pant leg.

Si es necesario corar un poco el ancho de la pretina este es el momento. Yo lo recorté un poco.
Recomiendo medir cada centro de la costura con la pretina, para que cuando estires la goma todo quede estirado de forma equilibrada de cada lado.
Fija primero con un zig zag y luego cose con una recta.
Como puedes ver, no se nota que tiene un empate y queda super bien.
espero te guste este prenda de vestir muy fácil de hacer y muy cómoda para andar en casa esos días de clima frío.
