A crowd of monsters - 5 minute freewrite

For me, monsters are not the vile abstract that are usually portrayed, true monsters are not external entities that, but rather, the dark aspects deep within each and every human being, the only thing that separates a human being from a monster is unconformity to the dark side.

The duality of human nature incubates a monster, a monster is born from suppressed emotions, Conformity to societal pressure and worse of all, self deception. A monster who is not aware that it's a monster is the worst kind of monster.

Are we all monsters, no. Do monsters lurk among us, more than you think. I've had my fair share of monsters, maybe I'm a monster myself without even knowing it. Some thoughts I'm my head are darker than black, some scenes in my imagination stain my perception of reality. I just hope it doesn't consume me.

For me, everyone is capable of becoming a monster, but in the end, some people resist, I'll resist it too, till the end.
