RE: My First Day on Blurt

Holovision? I don't want to rain on your parade; but I've been with the Blurt writing platform for two weeks and I continue to have bad experiences with it. To put it all in a few sweet words, it's not the Hive writing platform. The Hive writing platform gives you so much more than the Blurt writing platform does and a ton of more benefits than the Steem writing platform was ever able to do. Anyhow, because you took the time to write about your experiences on Blurt, I'm going to follow you on both Hive and Blurt.

Omg! Do they actually charge us Blurt units to follow other people on that writing platform? It looks that way. I don't think that they do so here on the Hive writing platform. At least not that I have noticed. If they do, the Resource Credits come back up to 100 percent quickly here on Hive.

Darn! You've been with the Hive platform a year less than I have and you're already at a reputation level of 71. Good for you. I'd just be happy to make it to 60 as for my reputation level.

Thanks for the reply. In my opinion you are right that Hive is much more better than Steemit and Blurt in many categories.

In 2024 I plan on focusing more on content creation. I have several years of past content I've posted so going onto other platforms makes sense. I can update the old posts and serve it up to new audiences while working on new content. The old posts have long since had their payout and are just sitting here on Hive so I might as well remonetize them on other platforms for a little extra crypto to HODL.

Yes, it kind of seems like Blurt nickels and dimes its users. On the second layer of Hive there are some transaction fees. On the first layer of Hive it is almost free with a few exceptions like the Actifit app being a 5% beneficiary for posting and there are a few communities take a percentage from posts. I plan on making a post about my first week on Blurt in a few days and I'll expand more about my thoughts on Blurt vs. Hive fees.

I am sure you can make it to a reputation score of 60. Each number up gets harder and harder to achieve. There are a few users I've seen that have a reputation of 80 or higher and I wonder if I'll ever reach that someday. The key is to just keep active.

Good luck and thanks for following me on both Hive and Blurt.

Yep, that's what I've been doing. Not as much on the Steem writing platform. However, whenever I publish something on my Hive channel, more often than not, I also publish it on my Blurt channel.
