YOU LEFT THEM THERE. ALONE IN THE WINTER. Yes. you. not you personally but in general. of course you had an excuse. after all you didn't even know so how can you be blamed.

but if you had known you would you have done nothing, of course. so there you have it. they survived without you and now you regret.

you are looking at pure neglect. your neglect. my neglect. our neglect.

oh you can still recognize some of your old companions

who worked tireless by your side without complaint

but they are different now. here by the sea they have become rustaceans.

beyond your reach and more importantly beyond your control.

they are looking back at you with empty hollow piercing eyes and it's far too late to remedy anything

many are beyond recognition

as if you never knew them

and never will

this is their world now

you are not invited and you don't belong

they have even started to become a bit frightening so better to leave now and seek your solace by the sea somewhere else. not here.

i have taken all these photos recently with my S22 phone. they have been edited with the free version of photoshop

yes the colors and textures in rust can be very interesting. lighting is very important, often i try to get the sun coming in from the side. that brings out the texture best. most of these photos have been edited to exaggerate them
